Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı Fen Bilimleri dersinde geleneksel öğretim yöntemi ile bilgisayar destekli öğretim yönteminin öğrenci ders başarısına ve derse yönelik tutumlarına etkisini araştırmaktır. Bu araştırmada kontrol gruplu ön test sontest modeli olan deneysel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırmada Fen Bilimleri dersi“Yaşamımızdaki Elektrik”ünitesi konularını kapsayan başarı testi ve derse yönelik tutumlarını ölçen tutum ölçeği öğrencilere ön test ve son test olarak uygulanmıştır. Bu çalışma 2011-2012 eğitim- öğretim yılı, Niğde İli 23 Nisan Havacılar Ortaokulu'nda öğrenim gören 66 ortaokul 6. sınıf öğrencisi üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Öğrencilerden deney ve kontrol grupları oluşturulmuştur. Gruplara uygulama öncesi ön test ve uygulama sonrası son test olarak başarı testi ve tutum ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Uygulama sonrası ön test ve son testlerden elde edilen verilerin analizinde SPSS programı kullanılmıştır. t – testi analizi ile deney ve kontrol grubu arasındaki Fen Bilimleri dersi başarısı karşılaştırılmıştır. BDÖ yöntemi uygulanan deney grubunun, geleneksel öğretim yöntemi uygulanan kontrol grubundan daha başarılı olduğu görülmüştür. Yapılan diğer veri analizleriyle BDÖ'in öğrencilerin Fen Bilimleri dersine yönelik tutumlarını olumlu yönde etkilediği saptanmıştır.

The aim of this research is compare the computer-aided teaching methods with traditional teaching methods in student academic achievement and to evaluate the impact on their attitudes towards the course of Science and Technology. In this study , control group was used with pretest-posttest model of the experimental method.In this study, achievement test and attitude survey which measures attitudes toward course was administered to students as pre-test and post-test about the covering topics“Electricity in Our Lives”unit of the course of Science and Technology. This study was carried out on Nigde 23 Nisan Havacılar Secondary School with 66 Grade 6 students in 2011-2012 academic year. The experimental and control groups were formed. Before application pre-test and after application post-test was applied as a achievement test and attitude Data obtained from the pre-test and post-test were analyzed with SPSS after application. Success of the course between the experimental and control groups was compared with t - Science test analysis experimental group which applied computer-aided teaching methods were found to be more successful than the control group which applied to traditional teaching methods. With other data analysis, positively influence of students attitudes towards Science lessons were found with computer-aided teaching methods.
