266 SUMMARY Our thesis entitled“Common Agricultural Policy of the European Community”consists of three parts. In first part general review of CAP (sources, history, objectives and principles of the CAP) and common market systems for agricultural products have been examined. In second part common agricultural policies and applying of these policies in various sectors have been analysed. As common policies, Market and Price Policy, Foreign Trade Policy; Structural Policies and Financing, Policy have been considered and application of these policies in sectoral basis have been explained. The third part is entitled as“Practial Outcomes of the CAP, Reform Studies and GATT”. The steps taken for the attainment of the objectives of the CAP and the problems emerged during implementation have been examined within the chapter entitled Practical Outcomes. The grounds for reform and documents concerning the reform have been explained one by one. Finally, GATT negatiations and the changes made by the outcomes of these negatiations on the CAP have been examined.
