Özet
Bu çalışmada Türkiye'de son 12 yılda eğitim politikalarındaki değişim, din eğitimi ve eğitimin kimlik inşası süreci ele alınmıştır. Araştırma, 2002-2014 yıllarını kapsamaktadır.Söz konusu dönemde gerçekleşmiş eğitim politikaları ve çalışmaları açısından; zorunlu din dersleri,“dört artı dört artı dört”sistemi, imam-hatip lise ve ortaokulları ile ilgili yeni uygulamalar, seçmeli dersler, müfredatta yer alan konuların ele alınış biçimleri, tezin yazım aşamasındaki dönemde olan son gelişmeler, sendikaların bu uygulamalarla ilgili fikir ve görüşleri ele alınmıştır. Araştırmada niteliksel yöntem kapsamında yorumsamacı yöntem, içerik analizi ve eleştirel okul yaklaşımları kullanılmıştır. Kuramsal olarak Althusser, Castells ve Freire'den faydalanılmıştır. Althusser temelinde devletin ideolojik aygıtlarından özellikle din ve eğitim araçsallaştırması ve Castells'in proje kimliği açısından bir vatandaş kimliği oluşturması şeklinde ele alınmıştır. Çalışma içerisinde 2014-2015 eğitim yılı için okutulan DKAB ders kitaplarının içeriği analiz edilmiştir. Bu araştırma kapsamında Eğitim-Sen ve Eğitim-Bir-Sen'li olmak üzere toplamda 10 öğretmen ile görüşülmüştür.

In this study, the changes in the education policies in Turkey in the past 12 years, religious education and the process of building u identities through education. The research will cover the period from 2002 to 2014.In terms of the recent education policies and practices, compulsory religion classes, the four“plus four plus four”education system, the new practices regarding imam-hatip high schools and secondary schools, elective courses, the way the curriculum subjects are dealt with, the recent developments during the preparation of this thesis and the opinions and ideas of trade unions about these practices are examined. In this research, within the scope of the qualitative method, interpretive method, content analysis and critical school approaches have been employed. Theories of Althusser, Castells and Freire have been made use of. From the perspective of Althusser, the instrumentalization of religion and education as the ideological apparatus of the state and from the perspective of Castells' project identity, the formation of a citizenship identity have been discussed. In this study, the text books of DKAB delivered in schools for the period of 2014-2015 were analyzed in terms of content. Within the scope of this research, a total number of 10 teachers were interviewed from the trade unions of Eğitim-Sen and Eğitim-Bir-Sen.
