Özet
Günümüzde iletişim teknolojilerinin gelişmesiyle birlikte dünya üzerinde birbirine internet ağı ile bağlanan insanların iletişim ve etkileşim süreçleri yeni bir tür toplum biçimi olarak nitelendirilen“Ağ Toplumu”kavramını gündeme getirmiştir. Başlangıçta, küresel anlamda toplumdaki bireylerin ekonomik, kültürel ve siyasi amaçlı bir araya gelmelerini sağlayan ağ toplumunun, zamanla bireylerin gerek yaşadıkları toplumlarda ve gerekse dünyada farklı coğrafyalarda görülen belirli toplumsal olay ve sorunlar etrafında örgütlenmelerinde de önemli rol oynadıkları görülmektedir. Özellikle, ağ toplumu içerisinde paylaşım ve etkileşime en fazla imkân tanıyan sosyal ağların toplumsal hareketlerin oluşumunda ve katılımındaki rolü bu çalışmanın temel sorununu oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, küreselleşen dünyamızda bir ağ oluşturan sosyal ağların, Castells'in ağ toplumu çerçevesinde yeni toplumsal hareketler üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Bu amaçla, Türkiye'deki Gezi Parkı toplumsal hareketinin oluşumunda ve katılımında sosyal ağların rolü incelenerek, sosyal ağlar ve toplumsal hareketler ilişkisi analiz edilmeye çalışılacaktır. Bu bağlamda, Gezi Parkı toplumsal hareketinin gerçekleştiği ve Türkiye'deki Twetter kullanım sayının hızla artarak 15 milyon 077 bin 500 kişiye ulaştığı 31 Mayıs 2013 Cuma tarihinde Twitter üzerinden hem Türkiye, hem de tüm dünyada konuyla ilgili en sık kullanılan 10 hashtag ele alınarak eylemin sosyal paylaşım ağı olan Twetter'daki yansıması incelenecektir. Bu çalışmada nicel araştırma yöntemi uygulanacaktır. Çalışmada yeni toplumsal hareketlerin önemli örneklerinden biri olarak görülen Türkiye'deki Gezi Parkı olayları sürecinde sosyal ağların etkin olarak kullanılmasının Manuel Castells'in ağ toplumunun yeni toplumsal hareketler bağlamında rolünü ortaya koymaya yönelik bu araştırma, aynı zamanda yeni toplumsal hareketlerin özellikleri konusunda detaylı bir çalışma ortaya çıkarmayı amaçlamaktadır.

Nowadays, with the development of communication technology, people in the world connected to each other over the Internet network where communication and interaction processes are described as a kind of new form of society callsthe“Network Society”brought the concept of the agenda. Initially, the network society allowed individuals came together in globally for economic, cultural and political purpose. In time, the network society plays an important role for individuals in their society and also in different regions of the world for their organization around certain social phenomena and problems observed in different countries. Especially, recognizing the more opportunities to share and interact in the network society of social networks, the formation of social movements and the role of social networks in the accession issue is the basis of this study. The primary objective of this study is to examining the opinion of today's social movements are occurring through social networks which they also thought to be the important role of the transformation of the social structure and the managerial structure of society within the framework of the network society of Manuel Castells. For this purpose, the role of social networks in social movements will be review to try to analyze the relationship of social networks and social movements. In this context, the most frequently used both in Turkey and all over the world ten related hashtags will be examined on the date the date of the 31st of May 2013 on Friday at Gezi Parki social movement when the usage of twitter increased very rapidly and has reached the number of 15 million and 077 thousand and 500 hundred people via twitter. The qualitative research method will be committed in both processes of data and also in the data analysis. Within the framework of the network society of Manuel Castells the purpose of this work is to analyze the role of effective use of social networks in the process of Gezi Parki events in Turkey which also seen as one of the important examples of new social movements in the world.
