Özet
Turkish tourism policy and planning. Principles and precautions applied during the planned-development periods were investigated depending on the statistical results. These results suggested that Turkish tourism showed imported developments dring the above mentioned period. We can say that the basic policy in this planned period was to get a bigger share from the growing tourism expenditures in the world and to seek for alternative developments that would help close the gap in the balance of payments. As a result, it can be said that there are some congestions and bottlenecks in the tourism policiy due to internal and external effect. IV

SUMMARY Tourism sector involves increasing the number of tourists visiting Türkiye and thus the revenves from tourism and developing domestic tourism moves and all state- and private-sector efforts to regulate the trips of Turkish citizens going abrod. General features of the toruism sector can be stated as special properties it covers, unseen export-import facilities, and dependence of tourism to other sectors. Along with some positive economic effects, tourism also causes some economic costs. But it seems possible that countries can make use of their recources available any get tourism income without enduring too much cost. Tourism policies. In the face of economic and social developments in organized societies, government interferes consciously with the course of developments in tourism. In Türkiye, the so called“tourism planning”has been organized in three ways; these are called economic, social, and physical planning. Tourism planning serves in many ways along with it basic aim of making tourism a locomotive sector in the economic and social development of the country. Planning of tourism first involves evaluation of the demand for a certain region, and secondly predicting how the resources can be best allocated to meet this demand. A number of methods are used to predict the demand in tourism. inTurkish tourism policy and planning.
