Özet
Rektum tümörü tedavisi sürecinde, ameliyat öncesi tümörün evrelendirilmesi ve ameliyat sonrası takiplerde lokal nüks ve uzak metastazların saptanmasında pozitron emisyon tomografi/bilgisayarlı tomografinin (PET/BT) etkinliğini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır.

This study aims to highlight the role of positron emission tomography /computed tomography (PET/CT) during the preoperative staging and postoperative follow-up local recurrence and distance metastasis of rectal cancer patients.
