Özet
Kıraatler Kur'ân'ın temel unsurlarından biridir. Bu yönüyle Kur'an ne kadar değerli görülmüşse, O'ndan bir cüz olan kıraatlerde o nispette değerli görülmüştür. Ümmet nezdinde bu denli önem arz eden kıraatler temelde sahih ve şâz kıraat diye iki kısımdan oluşmaktadır. Birinci kısımla ilgili geçmişten bu güne çok sayıda makale, tez ve müstakil eser yazılmışken, şâz kıraat ise daha sınırlı seviyede telif faaliyetine konu olmuştur. Diğer taraftan şâz kıraat, sahih kıraate nispetle çok daha geniş bir boyutta tartışılmıştır. Kıraat ilminde böyle bir durumun yaşanmasında; sahih kıraatin tevâtüre sahip olması, şâz kıraatinse âhâd haber seviyesinde kalması temel rol oynamıştır. Bu temel fark sahih kıraatin mutlak kabulüne, şaz kıraatinse belli şartlara bağlı olarak ve sınırlı seviyede kabulü gibi bir sonucu ortaya çıkarmıştır. Çalışmamız bir giriş ve üç ana bölümden oluşmuştur. Giriş kısmında Kur'ân ve kıraat gibi temel kavramlar, kıraatlerin tarihçesi ve ahruf-i seb'a üzerinde durulmuştur. Birinci bölümde sahih kıraatlerin genel özelliklerine, kıraatlerin hikmet ve faydalarına, kıraat tasniflerine, sahih kıraatlerin tefsirle ilişkisi ve buna dair örneklere yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölüm şâz kıraatlerin tüm detayıyla ele alındığı bölümdür. Burada şâz kavramı, âlimlerin şâz kıraat tanımlamaları, şâz kıraatlerin tarihi gelişimi, imam ve râvîler, şâz kıraat fıkıh ilişkisi, şâz kıraatlerle amel meselesi gibi konuyla ilgili gündeme gelebilecek birçok konu ele alınmış ve bunlarla ilgili değerlendirmelerde bulunulmuştur. Üçüncü bölümde ise şâz kıraatlerin tefsire etkisi üzerinde durulmuştur. Burada önce konuyla ilgili genel bir malumata yer verilmiş sonra da dilbilimsel tefsir, rivayet ve dirayet tefsirleri bağlamında şâz kıraat örneklerine yer verilmiştir. Yeri geldikçe diğer tefsirlere de atıfta bulunulmuştur. Bu itibarla müfessirlerin şâz kıraatlerden hangi yönüyle istifade ettikleri, şâz kıraatler hakkındaki değerlendirmeleri gibi konulara yer verilmiştir.

Readings of the Qur'an are one of the key elements. Therefore, the readings are seen as valuable as the Qur'an itself since they are regarded as a part of the Qur'an. The readings, that are regarded as such important by the ummah, consist of two types: authentic readings and non-canonical (shadhdhah) readings. The first kind has been subject of a large number of papers, theses and academic books, while the second kind has been subject to a limited level of academic activity. On the other hand, non-canonical readings have been subject to wider scope of discussion. This situation occurred because authentic readings have the level of perpetuation (tawatur), while the chain of transmission of non-canonical readings remained in a much lower level (âhâd). This fundamental difference resulted in the absolute acceptance of the authentic readings and the limited level acceptance of non-canonic readings depending on certain conditions met. Our study consisted of an introduction, three main parts. Basic concepts such as Qur'an and readings of the Qur'an, the history of readings and the 'seven letters' (ahruf al-sab'a) are dealt with in the introduction. In the first part, we deal with general characteristics of the authentic readings, meaning and benefits of the readings, classification of the readings, relationship of authentic readings with quranic exegesis and some examples of this relation. The second part is the part that deals with all the details of the non-canonical readings. Here we dealt with the concept of non-canonical (shâdhdh), scholars definitions, historical development of non-canonical readings, imams and narrators, the relationship of non-canonical readings with Islamic law, acting according to non-canonical readings and other issues that come up about the topic and made assessments about them. The third section focuses on the impact of non-canonical readings on the interpretation of the Qur'an. Here we have first given a general knowledge on the subject and then mentioned examples of nan-canonical reading from different commentaries that are based on linguistic interpretation, narration and interpretation. When necessary, reference is made also to other commentaries. Hence this part is devoted to issues such as the ways in which the Qur'anic commentators benefited from the non-canonical readings and their views about them.
