Özet
Bu tez çalışmasının amacı Mesleki Eğitim Merkezi öğrencilerinin yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimlerinin incelenmesi ve çeşitli değişkenler (cinsiyet, yaş, eğitim durumu, bölüm) ile olan ilişkisinin belirlenmesidir. Bu amaçla tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Bartın Lütfullah Kocabaşoğlu Mesleki Eğitim Merkezi'nde öğrenim gören 298 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma örneklemini ise Bartın Mesleki Eğitim Merkezine devam eden öğrenciler arasından tesadüfi örneklem seçme yöntemi ile seçilen 170 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verileri araştırmacının geliştirdiği kişisel bilgi formu ve Diker Coşkun (2009) tarafından geliştirilen“Yaşam Boyu Öğrenme Eğilimleri Ölçeği”ile elde edilmiştir. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde betimsel istatistikler (aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma), non-parametrik testlerden Mann-Whitney U testi, non-parametrik testlerden Kruskal-Wallis H testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin analizi SPSS 15.0 programı ile yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda Mesleki Eğitim Merkezi öğrencilerinin yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimleri yüksek düzeyde bulunmuştur. Ayrıca, kadın öğrencilerin yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimlerinin daha yüksek düzeyde olduğu da tespit edilmiştir. Yaşa göre yapılan karşılaştırmada 18 yaşından küçük öğrencilerin yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimleri, 26-35 yaş arasındaki ile 36 yaş ve üzerindeki öğrencilerden daha düşük düzeyde olduğu sonucu elde edilmiştir. Eğitim durumuna göre yapılan analizde de, lise mezunu öğrencilerin yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimleri, ortaokul mezunu öğrencilerin yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimlerinden daha yüksek düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin yaşam boyu öğrenme puanları ile bölümleri arasında yapılan analize göre, ahşap teknolojisi bölümü, ayakkabı ve saraciye teknolojisi bölümü, motorlu araçlar teknolojisi bölümü öğrencilerinin yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimleri diğer bölümlere göre daha düşük düzeydedir. Giyim teknolojisi bölümü, inşaat teknolojisi bölümü, güzellik ve saç bakım hizmetleri bölümü, tesisat teknolojisi ve iklimlendirme bölümü öğrencilerinin yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimleri diğer bölümlere göre daha yüksektir. Öğrencilerin yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimlerinin motivasyon boyutunda tüm değişkenlere göre anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur. Sebat alt boyutunda öğrenim durumuna göre anlamlı farklılık bulunamazken; diğer değişkenlere göre anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur. Öğrenmeyi düzenlemede yoksunluk ve merak yoksunluğu alt boyutlarında öğrencilerin bölümlerine göre anlamlı farklılık bulunamazken; diğer değişkenlere göre anlamlı farklılık saptanmıştır. Mesleki Eğitim Merkezleri'nde yaşam boyu öğrenmeye yönelik farkındalıklarını arttıracak çalışmalar yapılmalıdır.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the lifelong learning tendencies of the Vocational Training Center students and to determine the relationship between the various variables (sex, age, educational background, department). For this purpose, scanning method was used. The population of the research involves 298 students studying at Bartın Lütfullah Kocabaşoğlu Vocational Training Center. The research sample was formed by random sample selection method among the 170 students enrolled in the Bartın Vocational Training Center. The research data were obtained through the personal information form developed by the researcher and the“Lifelong Learning Tendencies Scale”developed by Diker Coşkun (2009). Descriptive statistics (arithmetic mean, standard deviation), Mann-Whitney U test from non-parametric tests and Kruskal-Wallis H test from non-parametric tests were used in the analysis of the data. The research data was analysed with SPSS 15.0 program. As a result of the research, the life long tendencies of the Vocational Traning Center students were found to be high level. It was also found that the lifelong learning tendencies of female students were higher. In comparison by age, it was concluded that students under 18 had a lower lifelong learning tendency than students between the ages of 26-35 and 36 or over. In the analysis according to the education level, the lifelong learning tendencies of the high school graduate students were found to be higher than the lifelong learning tendencies of the secondary school graduate students. According to the analysis of the students' lifelong learning scores and their departments, the lifelong learning tendencies of the students in the wood technology department, the shoe and saddle technology department and the motor vehicle technology department are lower than the other departments. The students in the clothing technology department, the construction technology department, the beauty and hair care department, the installation technology and the climate department have a higher lifelong learning tendency than the other departments. Significant differences were found in the motivation dimension of the students' lifelong learning tendencies according to all variables. Although there was no significant difference according to the education status in the sub-dimension of perseverance, significant differences were found according to other variables. While there is no significant difference in sub-dimensions of lack of self regulation and lack of interest according to the sections of students; significant differences were found according to other variables. Workshops should be undertaken to raise the awareness of Lifelong Learning at VET centers.
