Özet
Bu araştırma Ortaokul 6. sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler programında yer alan Ülkemiz ve Dünya ünitesinin bilgisayar destekli materyallerle öğretiminin öğrencilerin akademik başarılarına etkisini ortaya koymayı amaçlayan bir çalışmadır. Araştırma, 2015-2016 eğitim-öğretim bahar yarıyılında Burdur merkez ilçesine ait bir ortaokulda bulunan iki farklı 6. sınıf öğrencileri üzerinden yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada, ön-test-son-test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel model kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada yansız bir şekilde bir sınıf deney bir sınıfta kontrol grubu olarak belirlenmiştir. Kontrol grubundaki öğrencilere“Ülkemiz ve Dünya”ünitesi geleneksel öğretim yöntemi(düz anlatım) ile uygulanmıştır. Deney grubundaki öğrencilere de bilgisayar destekli materyaller ile öğretim verilmiştir. Her iki sınıf için toplamda 4 ders saati ayrılmıştır. Araştırmada deney ve kontrol grubundaki uygulamalar araştırmacı tarafından yapılmıştır. Uygulamaların sonunda ön-test olarak sunulan başarı testleri, gruplar arasında farklılıkları saptamak amacıyla son-test olarak da kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada, Sosyal Bilgiler 6. sınıf Ülkemiz ve Dünya ünitesi konularının bilgisayar destekli materyaller ile öğretim etkinliklerinin düzenlemesi öğrencilerin akademik başarılarını arttırdığı görülmektedir.

This research is a study aimed to reveal the effects of teaching our country and world unit topics with computer-aided materials on the academic achievement of students at Secondary School 6th grade social studies program.'' The research was carried out on two different 6th grade students in a secondary school in Burdur central district in 2015-2016 school year spring semester. In the research, a semi-experimental model with pre-test-post-test control group was used. In the study, neutrally a class was designated as experimental class and another class was set as a control group. The“Our Country and World”unit was applied to the students in the control group with the traditional teaching method (straight expression). The students in the experimental group were also taught with computer aided materials. A total of 4 class hours are allocated for both classes. Applications in the experimental and control group were carried out by the researcher. Achievement tests that were presented as pre-tests at the end of the applications were also used as post-tests to identify differences between groups. In the research it is observed that arrangement of teaching activities Our Country and World unit topics with computer-aided materials to Secondary School 6th grade social studies program students increase the academic achievement.
