Özet
Türkiye'de 1950'li yıllardan sonra kendisini hissettirmeye başlayan göç ve kentleşme sosyal bilimler açısından önemli bir araştırma konusudur. Sanayileşme ve gelişen teknolojiye bağlı olarak artan göç akımlarının yönü genellikle büyük kentler olmaktadır. Göçe bağlı olarak kentlerdeki nüfusun her geçen yıl artması, konut sorunu, gecekondulaşma ve plansız kentleşme gibi pek çok sorunu da beraberinde getirmektedir. Bu sorunların çözümüne ilişkin atılan en somut adımlardan başında toplu konut yöntemiyle konut üretilmesi gelmektedir. Ülkemizde, 1980'li yıllardan itibaren yerel yönetimler ve kooperatifler öncülüğünde yaygınlaşmaya başlayan toplu konut uygulamaları ile konut maliyetleri düşürülerek dar gelirlinin ev sahibi olması amaçlanmıştır. Böylece kentsel gelişimi olumsuz etkileyen gecekondulaşma ve kaçak yapılaşma önlenerek planlı ve bütüncül bir kentleşmenin sağlanacağı ön görülmüştür. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye'de yaşanan göç ve kentleşme toplu konut uygulamaları bağlamında ele alınarak konuya akademik katkı sağlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Akademik yazında gecekondulaşma, suçluluk, uyum vb. sorunlar çerçevesinde sıkça ele alınan göç ve kentleşme konusu İzmir Egekent-2 Toplu Konut Uygulaması örneğinde ele alınarak toplu konut uygulamalarının bu süreçteki rolü tartışılmıştır.

Migration and urbanization that have made their presence felt after the 1950's in Turkey, are a significant research topic in terms of social sciences. The direction of migration flows, which increases depending on industrialization and developing technology is usually towards large cities. The increase in population due to migration every passing year has brought issues such as housing problem, squatting, and unplanned urbanization. Concerning the solution of these problems, the most concrete step is the production of housing through the application of housing estate. Since the 1980s with the application of housing estate through which housing costs have been increased under the leadership of local governments and cooperatives, it has been aimed for the ones who have a low income to own houses as well. Thus, it has been predicted that a planned and totalitarian urbanization will be provided by preventing squatting and illegal housing that affect urban development negatively. In this study, it has been aimed to provide academic contribution through examining migration and urbanization in terms of housing estate. The subject of migration and urbanization, which has been dealt with frequently within the frame of issues such as squatting, guilt, and adaptation etc. in academic literature, is dealt with through the example of Housing Estate Application in İzmir Egekent-2 concerning the role of sample of housing estate application in this process.
