Özet
Geçmişi M.Ö. 11.000'e dayanan Urfa Şehrinin adı tarih boyunca suyla beraber anılmıştır. Günümüzde“Halilürrahman Suyu”olarak adlandırılan Halilürrahman gölünden doğuya doğru akan su; elli yıl öncesine kadar, hanlardan, hamamlardan, camilerden, evlerden geçerek insanların su ihtiyacını karşılamış, çevresine özgün ve estetik bir değer kazandırmıştır. Bu çalışmayla; geçirdiği tarihsel süreç içerisinde oluşan dokusu, barındırdığı mimari, sosyolojik ve folklorik özellikleriyle kültürel mirasımız yönünden çok büyük bir değere sahip olan Halilürrahman su yolu aksı üzerindeki geleneksel dokunun kaybolmaya başlayan mimari değerleri ve koruma sorunları, yapılan analiz ve gözlemlerle ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Güzergah üzerinde bulunan Hızanoğlu Sokak ve Sokağın sonundaki iki yapının; Hindiye Tekkesi ve Leyliciler Evi'nin mimari özellikleri incelenerek, güzergahın sürdürülebilirliğini sağlamak için öneriler geliştirilmiştir. Tez beş bölümden oluşmaktadır: I. Bölümde: Çalışmanın amacı, bu amaç doğrultusunda yapılan araştırmanın inceleme yöntemi ve çalışmanın kapsamı anlatılmıştır. II. Bölümde: Şanlıurfa'nın fiziksel yapısı ve tarihsel gelişimi incelenmiş, geleneksel dokuyu oluşturan mimarinin gelişim sürecine ve kentin su rezervlerine yer verilmiştir. III. Bölümde: Su yolunun kentsel doku bağlamında incelenmesi, doku analizleri, güzergah üzerindeki yapılara ait envanter çalışması ve tarihi dokunun koruma sorunları yer almaktadır. IV. Bölümde: Hızanoğlu Sokakta yapılan 3D ölçüm ve gözlemler sonucunda sokağın güneydoğu bölümünün mevcut durumu belgelenmiş, cephe restitüsyon önerisi getirilmiştir. Hindiye Tekkesi ve Leyliciler Evinin rölöveleri hazırlanarak analizleri yapılmıştır. Yapıların koruma sorunları tespit edilerek, restitüsyon önerisi getirilmiş, yapıların sürdürülebilirliklerine yönelik restorasyon önerilerinde bulunulmuştur. V. Bölümde: tarihi su yolunun ve su yolu güzergahındaki geleneksel dokunun, korunması ve sürdürülebilirliğine yönelik bütünleşik koruma önerileri getirilmiştir.

History based on 11.000 B.C., the name of the Urfa City has been mentioned along with the water throughout history. The water flowing eastward from the Halilürrahman Lake, now called“Halilürrahman Water”, has met the people's need for water passing from hans, baths, mosques and houses and gave a unique and aesthetic value to its surroundings until fifty years ago. With this study; architectural values and conservation problems that started to disappear from the traditional touch on the Halilürrahman waterway road which has a great value in terms of cultural heritage with its texture formed during the historical process, architecture, sociological and folkloric characteristics has been revealed with the analysis and observations. The architectural features of the Hızanoğlu Street on the route and two buildings at the end of Hızanoğlu Street; Hindiye Lodge and Leyliciler House have been examined and suggestions have been developed to ensure the sustainability of the route. The thesis consists of five parts: In the first part; the purpose of the study, examination method of the research and the scope of the study conducted on that purpose has explained. In the second part; the physical structure and historical development of Şanlıurfa have examined and the development process of the architect of the traditional texture and the water reserves of the city have included. In the third part; Investigation of the waterway in the context of urban texture, analysis, inventory work of the structure on the route and the problems on the protection of historic texture have explained. In the fourth part; by examining Hızanoğlu Street, the present situation of the southeast part of the street is documented, facade restitution and restoration proposals have brought. By preparing surveying using the result of 3D measurements and observations made at the Hindiye Lodge and Leyliciler House, present conditions are documented and analyzed. Conservation problems of the structures have identified, restitution proposals have introduced and suggestions for the restoration of the sustainability of the constructions have been made. In the fifth part; integrated suggestions on the protection and sustainability of the historic waterway and traditional texture on waterway route have introduced.
