Özet
Bu çalışma 2015 yılında Ordu ili ve ilçelerindeki akvaryum işletmelerinin, mevcut durumunu, sorunlarını belirlemek ve çözüm önerileri sunmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada araştırma yöntemi olarak tam sayım anket yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında Ordu ilinde kurulmuş toplam işletme sayısının 11 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Akvaryum işletmeleri“A”harfi ile kodlanmış ve 1'den 11'e (A1…A11) kadar sayılarla numaralandırılmıştır. Mevcut işletmelerin %55'inin Ordu merkezinde, %18'inin Ünye, %18'inin Fatsa ve %9'unun ise Perşembe ilçesinde bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. İşletmelerin 1 tanesinin akvaryum balığı üreticisi (A9), 10 tanesinin ise akvaryum balığı satıcısı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Akvaryum işletmelerinin %73'ünün 2007-2013 yılları arasında, %27'sinin ise 1987-2005 yılları arasında kurulduğu belirlenmiştir. Akvaryum işletmelerinin %73'ünün kiracı olduğu, %27'sinin ise kendi mülkünde faaliyet gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Akvaryum işletmelerinde çalışanların %87'sinin erkek, %13'ünün ise kadın personelden oluştuğu, işyeri sahiplerinin ve çalışan personelin %46'sının ilkokul, %36'sının lise ve %9'unun ise üniversite mezunu olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışanların yaş aralığının 32-59 yaş, iş tecrübelerinin ise 2-28 yıl aralığında olduğu saptanmıştır. İşletmelerde en fazla satılan balık türlerinin; Japon balığı, lepistes ve çiklit balıkları olduğu belirlenmiştir. Akvaryum işletmelerinde %40 beyaz benek ve %50 oranında mantar hastalığı görüldüğü saptanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda akvaryum sektörünün en büyük sorunları arasında; kaçak balık satışı, vergilerin yüksek olması, bazı evcil hayvanların satışının yasaklanması, veteriner hekim ile çalışma zorunluğunun getirilmesi ve veterinerlerin balık hastalıkları tedavisinde teknik desteği sağlayamaması gibi etkenler olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

This study was carried out in 2015, in order to determine the current situation and the problems of the aquarium enterprises in Ordu province and its districts, and to propose solutions. Survey method was used as a research method in the study. Within the scope of the research, it was determined that the total number of enterprises established in the province of Ordu is 11. Aquarium enterprises are coded with the letter“A”and numbered from 1 to 11 (A1...A11). It is determined that 55% of the existing enterprises are in the Ordu province center, 18% are in Ünye, %18 are in Fatsa and 9% are in the district of Perşembe. One of the enterprises was found to be an aquarium fish producer (A9), and 10 of them were aquarium enterprises. It was determined that 73% of the aquarium enterprises were established between 2007-2013 and 27% between 1987-2005. It was determined that 73% of the aquarium enterprises were tenants and 27% were operating in their own property. It was determined that, 87% of the employees in the aquarium enterprises are male, and 13% are female; and 46% of the workplace owners and staff are primary school, 36% are high school and 9% are college graduates. It is determined that the age range of the employees is between 32-59 years and the work experience is between 2-28 years. The most sold fish species in the business are; Gold fish, guppies and cichlid fish. In of aquarium businesses, %40 white spot disease and %50 fungal diseases have been detected to be seen. As the result of the research, the biggest problems of the aquarium industry are determined as; the illegal sale of fish, high tax rates, prohibition of the sale of some of the domestic animals, the obligation of working with veterinarians, and the veterinarians' lack of technical support in the treatment of fish diseases.
