Özet
Bu araştırma 5, 6, 7. ve 8. sınıf düzeyindeki öğrencilerin sayısal derslerindeki başarısını etkileyen genetik ve çevresel etmenlerin etkisini tespit etmek için yapılmıştır. Bu araştırmada Bursa/İnegöl ilçesindeki altı farklı ortaokuldan seçilen 2561 öğrenciye ait örneklem grubu dikkate alınmıştır. Bağımlı değişkeni öğrencilerin sayısal derslerdeki başarı düzeyi olan araştırmanın bağımsız değişkeni ise, öğrencinin okula başlama yaşı, öğrencinin kendine ait odasının olması, öğrenciye ait ders kitabı dışında kaynağın olması, anne-babanın eğitim durumu ve meslekleri, öğrencinin kalıtsal hastalığı, öğrenciye ait bilgisayar olması, öğrencinin yaşadığı yer (il/ilçe/köy), kardeş sayısı, sayısal dersleri sevip sevmemesi, matematik ve fen bilimleri dersine evde ne kadar çalışma süresi ayırdığı durumlarıdır. Matematik ve fen derslerinde bağımsız değişkenlerden, bireysel oda, kaynak kitap, destek eğitim, baba eğitim durumu, derse olan ilgi ve Türkçe not ortalaması değişkenlerinin öğrenci başarısını etkileyen (P<0,01) ortak değişkenler olduğu bulunmuştur. Bunlara ilaveten matematik dersinde okula başlama yaşı, baba iş durumu ve ODAxSS, fen dersinde ise anne iş durumu ve ODAxSEV ile DExSEV'in önemli olduğu görülmektedir (P<0,01). Matematik dersinde başarıya en çok etkisi olan değişken ODA, en az etkisi olan KK, fen dersinde ise başarıya en çok etkisi olan değişken SEV, en az etkisi olan ise DE değişkenidir.

This study was conducted to determine the genetic and environmental factors affecting students' achievements in the 5th, 6th,7th and 8th grades numerical courses. In this study; A sample group consisting of 2561 students chosen from six different middle schools in Bursa Province, İnegöl District was taken into consideration. The study's independent variable, whose dependent variable is the students' success level in numerical courses, is that students' age to start school, having own room of the student, having any other source book except for school books, parents' education status and their professions, the hereditary illness of the student, having a personal computer, the place where the student lives in (province, district, village), the number of the sibling, liking the numerical courses or not and the time they allocate on math and science courses at home. It has been found that having own room, source book, supportive education, father's educational status, the interest on course and Turkish course grade-point averages as independent variables in Math and Science courses are common variables which affect the student success (P<0,01).In addition to this, It has been seen that the age to start school, father profession's status and ODAxSEV in Math course, mother profession's status and ODAxSEV and DExSEV in Science course are important (P<0.01). The most effective variable is ODA and the least effective variable is KK upon success in math course while the most effective variable is SEV and the least effective variable is DE upon success in Science course.
