Özet
Bu çalışmada, fen bilimleri öğretiminde drama yöntemi destekli 5E öğretim modelinin enerji konusunda öğrenci başarısı ve farkındalığına etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırma yöntemi olarak, ön test- son test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırma, 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim yılında Ankara ilinin Sincan ilçesinde bulunan bir ortaokulun 6. sınıfında okuyan 28'i deney, 28'i kontrol grubu olmak üzere 56 öğrenci ile 8 ders saatinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Dersler, deney grubunda 5E öğretim modelinin derinleştirme basamağı drama yöntemi ile desteklenerek işlenirken, kontrol grubunda ise MEB'in ortaokul okullarında uygulanmasını öngördüğü ders kitaplarına uygun şekilde 5E öğretim modeli ile işlenmiştir. Araştırmada, veriler Başarı Testi ve Enerji Farkındalık Ölçeğiyle toplanmıştır. Toplanan verilerin analizinde istatistiki işlemlerden Mann Whitney U- testi ve Wilcoxon işaretli sıralar testi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizi için SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) 22.0 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, ön test sonuçları açısından aralarında bir fark olmayan iki gruptan, son test sonuçlarına göre öğrenci başarıları ve enerji farkındalıkları açısından deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir farkın ortaya çıktığı görülmüştür.

In this study, the effect of 5E teaching model supported by drama method on students' success and awareness in the energy subjects in science teaching was investigated. As a research method, semi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test control group was used. The research was realized eight lesson hours with 56 sixth grade students (experimental group=28, control group=28) in a Middle School which takes place in Sincan, the district of the province, Ankara in education year 2016- 2017. Lessons, in the experimental group, while were taught to step of deepening 5E teaching model supported by the drama method, in the control group, it has been taught to the 5E teaching model in accordance with the textbooks that the MEB has enforced in middle schools. In research, data were collected with the Achievement Test and Energy Awareness Scale. Mann Whitney U-test and Wilcoxon signed rank test were used for statistical analysis in the analysis of collected data. Spss 22.0 package programme was used for the analysis of the obtained data. As a result of the study, while there was no meaningful difference between two groups after pre-test, it was seen that there was a significant difference in favor of the experimental group in terms of student achievements and energy awareness according to the final test results.
