İLKOKUL ÖĞRENCİLERİNE VE ANNELERİNE EVDE VERİLEN BAKIMIN ENTEROBIUS VERMICULARIS SIKLIĞINA ETKİSİ Kamuran ÖZDİL T.C. Dr. Handan ZİNCİR KISA ÖZET Çalışmanın amacı, E.vermicularis saptanan çocuklara ve annelerine evde verilen bakım ve izlemin E.vermicularis görülme sıklığına, çocuklar ve annelerin konu ile ilgili bilgi ve uygulamalarına etkisini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın birinci bölümünde kesitsel, ikinci bölümünde deneysel araştırma yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Kesitsel bölüme ait veriler; 21 Mart - 25 Mayıs 2016, deneysel bölüme ait veriler; 30 Mayıs – 30 Kasım 2016 tarihleri arasında toplanmıştır. Evreni; Nevşehir ili merkezi sosyoekonomik düzeyi düşük olan altı ilkokulda 2015-2016 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar döneminde öğrenim gören toplam 2122 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Örneklem seçiminde basit rastgele iki okul seçilmesine karar verilmiştir. Her iki okulda öğrenim gören toplam 805 öğrenciye ulaşılması hedeflenmiştir. Veri toplama tarihinde toplam 663 (örneklemin % 82'si) öğrenciye ulaşılmıştır. Tarama sonucunda 663 öğrenciden 38'inde (%5.7) E.vermicularis saptanmıştır. Araştırmada deney ve kontrol gruplarının atanmasında kura çekilmiştir (Deney: 20 Kontrol:18). Veriler; Tanımlayıcı Bilgi Formu, Çocuk İzlem Formu, Annelerin ve Çocukların Kıl Kurdu Konusunda Bilgilerini ve Uygulamalarını Değerlendirme Formları kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Etik kurul onayı, kurum izni ve bireylerden yazılı gönüllü onam alınmıştır. Deney grubuna altı, kontrol grubuna sadece veri toplama araçlarının uygulandığı üç ev ziyareti yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonunda yapılan güç analizinde; etki genişliği 0.6, anlamlılık düzeyi 0.05 alındığında toplam 38 çocuk ile araştırmanın gücü %95.4 bulunmuştur. Prof.Dr. Handan ZİNCİR ABSTRACT The aim of the study is to determine the impact of the care and monitoring provided at home to the children suffering from E. vermicularis, and to the mothers of those children, on incidence frequency of E.vermicularis and on the children's and mothers' knowledge and practice on the subject. In the first part of the study, cross-sectional and in the second part, experimental research methods were used. Cross-sectional part data were collected from 21 March to 25 May 2016 and experimental part data were collected from 30 May to 30 November 2016. The universe consisted a total of 2122 students, who were educated during the spring semester of the 2015-2016 academic year, in six primary schools with low socioeconomic level in the province of Nevşehir. It was decided to choose two randomly selected schools in the selection of the sample. Reaching to a total of 805 students attending both schools were targeted. A total of 663 students (82% of the sample) were reached at the date of data collection. As a result of screening, E. vermicularis was detected in 38 of 663 students (5.7%). In the study, the assignment of experiment and control groups are decided by lot (Experiment: 20 Control: 18). Data were collected by using Descriptive Information Form, Child Monitoring Form, and Information Forms on the Information and Applications of the children and mothers on enterobius vermicularis. Ethics committee approval, institutional permission and voluntary written consent from individuals were taken. For the experiment group, six home visits were made, while for the control group only three home visits were carried out, in which only data collection tools were applied. In the power analysis performed at the end of the study, when the effect size was taken as 0.6 and the significance level was taken as 0.05, the power of the research with a total of 38 children was found as 95.4%.
