Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, ABD'de başlayan 2008 Ekonomi Krizi'nin Yunanistan'da yarattığı siyasal sonuçları inceleyip açıklamaktır. Çalışmanın temel tezi, 2008 Ekonomi Krizi sonucunda Yunanistan'da sol siyasetin ve SYRIZA'nın gelişip güçlendiğini ileri sürmektedir. Tezin birinci bölümünde ABD ve Avrupa'da 2008 Ekonomi Krizi'nin nedenleri ve sonuçları incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde Yunan ekonomisinin yapısal özellikleri, sorunları ve Yunanistan'da 2008 Krizi'nin ekonomik nedenleri ve sonuçları analiz edilmiştir. Üçüncü bölüm tezin ana bölümünü oluşturmaktadır. Üçüncü bölümde sırasıyla Yunanistan'da sol düşüncenin ve geleneğin kısa tarihi, Syntagma Direnişi, 2008 Ekonomi Krizi sonucunda Yunanistan'da merkez sağ ile merkez solun zayıflaması, SYRİZA'nın yükselişi ve SYRİZA iktidarının uyguladığı ekonomi politikalar, ekonomik kriz karşısında Yunanistan Komünist Partisi ile sendikaların tutumları/politikaları incelenip açıklanmıştır.

The aim of this study is to examine and explain the political consequences of the 2008 economic crisis in Greece, which started in the USA. The main thesis of the study argues that left politics and Syriza developed and strengthened in Greece as a result of the 2008 economic crisis. The first part of the thesis examined the causes and consequences of the 2008 economic crisis in the USA and Europe. The second part analyzed the structural features of the Greek economy and the economic causes and consequences of the 2008 crisis in Greece. The third chapter is the major part of the thesis. In the third chapter of the thesis, the short history of the left thought and left political tradition in Greece, the Syntagma Resistance, weakening of the central right and the central left in Greece as a result of the 2008 economic crisis, the rise of SYRIZA and the economic policies implemented by the SYRIZA government, the attitudes and policies of the Greek Communist Party and the Unions in the face of the economic crisis are explained respectively.
