Özet
Dua, bir inancın göstergesidir. Bu nedenle, hem inancın zirvesindeki üstün güce dair tasavvuru ele verir, hem de o tasavvuru şekillendirir. Kur'an, muhataplarının zihnindeki Allah tasavvurunu değiştirirken eş zamanlı olarak dua anlayışını da değiştirmiştir. Allah'a dair hali hazırda var olan tasavvur üzerinden gerçekleşen bu değişim, muhataplarının tüm varlıkla kurdukları ilişkileri de etkilemiştir. Bir inşa süreci olarak ifade edilebilecek bu değişim ile insan; kendisine yakın, merhametli, adaletli, belirli ilkeleri olan ve bunlar dahilinde kullarına davranan bir Allah inancına ulaşır. Nüzul süreci boyunca insan-Allah ilişkisinin temel ahlâkî ilkelerini ortaya koyan Kur'an, insandan da bu ilkelere uygun davranmasını bekler. İnsanın Allah ile kurduğu ilişkide duanın durduğu yer ve yüklenilen anlam, tam da bu ilkelerin anlaşılması ile ilgilidir. İşte Kur'an; süreç içinde Allah tasavvuru ile birlikte şekillendirdiği dua algısı üzerinden esasen mü'min bir şahsiyet inşa etmekte, muhatabını hem zihinsel hem de davranışsal açıdan yeniden yapılandırmakta, şahsî sorumluluğunun bilincinde, salih amel odaklı bir zihne dönüştürmektedir. Böylece insan, yaratılışına uygun bir yol ve yöntem (fıtrat) izleyeceğine dair iradi bir beyanda bulunmuş olur. Edilgen bir isteme halini aşan ve içinde bulunulan gerçekliğin anlamını kavramaya yönelik çabanın bir ürünü olan bu beyan, bir konum bildiriminin, tevhid üzere bir ubudiyet anlayışının ifadesidir. Tevhid, bu konumlandırmanın yerli yerince yapılmış halini ifade ederken, şirk, aksine bir konum karmaşasının ifadesidir ki, Kur'an başından sonuna kadar bu karmaşanın düzeltilmesinin mücadelesini vermiştir. Nitekim mü'minin duası ile ortaya koyulan, nihayetinde her durumu kuşatan bir acziyetin idrakiyle tek Allah'a kulluk bilincidir. Çalışmamız boyunca mü'min bir şahsiyetin inşasında belirleyici olan dua anlayışının nüzul sürecindeki seyrini, konuya ilişkin ayetlerin metin içi ve metin dışı bağlamlarını ve müfessirlerin yaklaşımlarını da dikkate alarak ortaya koymaya çalıştık.

Prayer (Du'a) is sign of a belief. Therefore, it divulges the envisagement of the superior strength found at the utmost of belief while it gives shape to that concept. While the Quran modifies the concept of Allah in the minds of addressees, it simultaneously changes the understanding of prayer. This transformation, which accrues by means of the envisagement regarding Allah, affects the established relationships between addressees and all other entities. Human beings, with this process of transformation, reach a belief in Allah that He is close to themselves, merciful, just, has definite principles and behaves toward His servants as such. Throughout the period of revelation, the Quran pronounces the basic ethical principles for the human-Allah relationship, expecting humans to behave in accordance with these principles. The attitude toward prayer and meaning attributed to prayer in the relationship established with Allah by human beings is just as relevant to the understanding of these principles. Hence, the Quran actually constructs the believers' personalities out of their perceptions of prayer, which are fashioned along with the envisagement of Allah during the process, reconstructs the addressees' mental and behavioral perspectives and converts them into those who have minds focused on righteous actions/deeds with the consciousness of responsibility. Consequently, humans declare voluntarily that they follow the path and the method suited to their creation (fitrah). This declaration, which is a product of exceeding a passive state of inclination and displays effort to give meaning to the reality within themselves, is a statement of position and an expression of servitude founded in monotheistic faith (tawheed). Thus, whereas monotheistic faith advocates the inherently proper order of the aforementioned positioning, polytheism is conversely a statement of the state of chaos such that the Quran from beginning to end struggled to rectify. Consequently, the believers' prayers are the acknowledgement of the awareness that no matter the circumstance humans are in a state of utter helpless subservience to Allah. In this study, we try to convey the determining factors of the concept of prayer within the process of revelation in the construction of believers' personalities, taking into consideration the context of the relevant verses both within and outside of the text as well as the approaches of the interpreters.
