ENGLİSH ABSTRACT In this research, we want to evaluate the periodicals collection of Hacettehe University Medical Library. Our hypothesis is that, this Library's periodicals collection meet the needs of its readers» In order to prove the sufficien cy (capacity) of the collection, we use the methods and the techniques which can be applied in this field. The use of periodicals by the readers is the main criterion in this study. The data collec ted while evaluating are the records of circulation and photocopying departments. Detailed table and statistics are given about the collected data. At the end of the research it is found that the periodicals in Hacettepe University Medical Library are sufficiently used by its readers.
