Özet
Geometri yapısı itibariyle soyut kavramlar içeren bir derstir. Ortaokul dönemindeki öğrencilere bu soyut dersi geleneksel öğretim yöntemleriyle işlemenin bazı öğrenme güçlüklerine neden olabileceği düşünülebilir. Bu sebeple öğrencilere zenginleştirilmiş öğrenme ortamları sunmak önemli görünmektedir. Öğrencilere zenginleştirilmiş öğrenme ortamlarını hazırlamak da hali hazırda mesleğini sürdüren öğretmenlere ve lisans eğitimlerini tamamlayıp mesleğe başlayacak aday öğretmenlere düşmektedir. Bu araştırmada, eğitim fakültesi“Öğretmenlik Uygulaması”dersi dâhilinde aday öğretmenlerin 5. sınıf öğrencilerine uygulama yaptıracağı bir ortam hazırlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmacı tarafından Ortaokul 5. sınıf öğrencilerine“geometrik cisimler”alt öğrenme alanının kazanımlarını kavratmaya yönelik derste Dinamik Geometri Yazılımı (DGY) ve somut materyallerin kullanımını gerektiren ders planları hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmanın amacı aday öğretmenlerin; uygulama süreci öncesi DGY ve öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin görüşlerini sunmak; Cabri Geometri, Cabri 3D ve somut materyal kullanımını gerektiren hazır ders planlarını uygulama sürecindeki yaşantılarını ve görüşlerini belirlemek; uygulama süreci sonrası öğretimde hazır ders planlarını, DGY ve somut materyal kullanımını ve öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin görüşlerini sunmaktır. Araştırma aday öğretmenlerin yaşantılarını ve görüşlerini derinlemesine irdelemek amaçlı olduğu için çalışmada nitel araştırma deseni benimsenmiştir. Araştırma, vaka çalışmasının bir türü olan“birkaç bireyden oluşan vaka çalışması”olarak desenlenmiştir. Araştırmaya hizmet edip örneklemler üzerinde daha ayrıntılı ve derinlemesine çalışmaya olanak verdiğinden amaçlı örnekleme yönteminin bir türü olan“maksimum çeşitlilik örnekleme”yöntemiyle çalışma grubu belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada, 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim yılında bir üniversitenin Eğitim Fakültesi İlköğretim Matematik Öğretmenliği bölümünde öğrenim gören son (4.) sınıf öğrencilerinden dört aday öğretmenle çalışılmıştır. Araştırma, maksimum çeşitlilik örneklemesine uygun olarak seçilmiş olan dört aday öğretmenle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sorularına gerekli cevapları bulabilmek amacıyla veri çeşitlemesine önem verilmiştir. Veri toplama sürecinde gerek sözlü gerek yazılı mülakatlara yer verilmiş, video ve ses kayıtları alınmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçları“aday öğretmenlerin uygulama öncesi, süreci ve sonrası derslerde DGY kullanımıyla ilgili görüşlerine yönelik sonuçlar”,“aday öğretmenlerin uygulama öncesi, süreci ve sonrası öğretmenlik mesleği ile ilgili görüşlerine yönelik sonuçlar”ve“aday öğretmenlerin uygulama süreci sonrası derslerde (matematik öğretimi) somut materyal kullanılması ile ilgili görüşlerine yönelik sonuçlar”şeklinde belirlenmiştir.

Geometry is a course that includes several abstract concepts. It is thought that using the traditional teaching methods in the process of delivering such a highly abstract course may lead to learning difficulties for students at the level of secondary education. Therefore, it seems important to offer enriched learning environments to students. Preperation of these enriched learning environments for the students is mainly the responsibility of the current teachers and the pre-service teachers studying their undergraduate courses in education faculties. In this study, the researcher tried to create an environment that pre-service teachers will apply to the 5th grade students within the course of 'Teaching practice'. In order to enable the students understand the concepts related to the sub-learning area of 'geometric objects', the researcher developed the Dynamic Geometry Software (DGS) and the lesson plans including concrete materials which are to be used in the classroom. This study aims to present the views of pre-service mathematics teachers towards DGS and teaching profession prior to the implementation process, to determine the experiences and views of them during implementation process of prepared lesson plans which require use of Cabri Geometry, Cabri 3D and concrete materials, and to present their views towards use of prepared lesson plans, DGS and concrete materials in classroom and teaching profession following the implementation process. The basis of this research is founded on qualitative research design since the aim is to examine the experiences and views of pre-service teachers thoroughly. The research was designed as a type of case study known as“a case study consisting of several individuals”. The researcher used“the maximum variation sampling method”which is a type of the purposeful sampling approach to determine the study group. This approach enabled to examine the chosen sample in more detail and depth. The study was conducted with pre-service teachers studying in the mathematics teaching department at the education faculty of a university in Turkey during the 2016 to 2017 academic year. Four pre-service teachers were selected according to the maximum variation sampling method. In order to obtain the necessary answers to the questions, the researcher focused on data diversification. During the data collection process, both oral and written interviews were conducted. In addition, the researcher applied video and audio recording methods. The results of this study are categorised as follow:“the results including pre-service teachers' assessment of using DGS in courses before, during, and after the implementation process”;“the results including pre-service teachers' assessment of the teaching profession before, during, and after the application process”and“the results including pre-service teachers' assessment of using concrete materials in the courses (teaching of maths) following the implementation process”.
