Özet
Mekân dramaturjisi yalnızca sahne mekânı ve o mekânın nasıl yorumlandığını değil, tiyatro mimarisini ve tiyatronun kent içindeki konumunu da içerir. Mekân dramaturjisi kavramının sahne mekânının fiziksel özelliklerini aşarak kentin çeperlerine dayanmasının sebebi, tezin teorik çerçevesini oluşturan mekân sosyolojisi çalışmalarıdır. Toplumsal ilişkilerin mekân üzerinden örgütlenmesi ile ideolojinin ve ekonomik işleyişin mekân üzerindeki tahakkümü, tiyatro ve mekân ilişkisinin kentsellikle beraber okunmasını gerektirir. Mekân sosyolojisi çalışmalarının bir diğer verisi, özneler üzerinden değil mekân üzerinden tarih yazımının görünenin dışında başka bağlantıları açığa çıkaracağıdır. Türkiye tiyatrosunun güncel durumunu değerlendirebilmenin ön koşulu, görme biçimlerinin farklılığını temel alarak, mekânsal değişimlerinin incelenmesidir. Batılılaşma politikalarıyla İtalyan tipi sahnenin Türkiye tiyatrosuna egemen olması, tiyatronun özel alana çekilmesine ve kamusal alanda varlık bulan geleneksel tiyatronun özgün mekânsallığının giderek silinmesine neden olmuştur. Bu çalışmada tiyatronun mekânsal hesaplaşmasının sonuç ürün yerine süreci temel alan katılımcı mimarlık ile mümkün olabileceği savunulur. Türkiye tiyatrosunun özgün bir mekânsallığa erişmesi; mimara atfedilen yüce görevden vazgeçilerek genelgeçer doğruların sorgulanması ve kullanıcının aktif katılımı ile mümkün olabilir. Çalışmanın son bölümünde mekân dramaturjisinin katmanlı yapısı sahne ölçeğinde dramaturjilerinin merkezinde mekân olan gösterimlerle ele alınır.

Space dramaturgy includes not only the stage space and how it is interpreted but also the theater architecture and the location of the theater in the city. The reason why the space dramaturgy reached the walls of the city by exceeding the physical features of the stage space is the sociology of space which constitute the theoretical framework of the thesis. The organization of social relations through space and the domination of ideology and economic operation on space require considering the relationship between the theater and the space in terms of urbanization. Another data of sociology of space is that the history writing through the space rather than the subjects will reveal other unique connections. Precondition of being able to evaluate the current status of the theater in Turkey is to examine the spatial changes by taking different ways of seeing into consideration. The domination of Italian style stage over theater of Turkey as a result of the westernization policies caused the withdrawal of the theater into private spaces and disappearance of the unique spatiality of the traditional theater living in public spaces. The idea supported in this study is that the spatial settlement of the theater is possible with participatory architecture which is based on the process rather than the result. Reaching a unique spatiality of theater in Turkey could be possible with questioning the well-accepted statements by abandoning the supreme task attributed to the architect and active participation of the users. In the last part of the study, the layered structure of space dramaturgy is focused on by examining performances with space centered dramaturgy in stage scale.
