Özet
Bu çalışma ele alınan köylülük ve kentliliğin bir ötekileştirme pratiği olarak kullanılıp kullanılmadığı, kentte ve köyde yaşayan insanların birbirini öteki olarak algılayıp algılamadığı gibi sorular eşliğinde ortaya çıkmış ve çalışmanın ana hatları literatürü göre belirlenmiştir. Bunun için öncelikle öteki ve ötekileştirme kavramları ayrıntılı bir şekilde ele alınmış daha sonra köy ve kent imgeleriyle, köylü ve kentli kavramlarının tanımları ayrıntılı bir biçimde ele alınarak açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Buradaki amaç köylülüğün bir geleneksellik üzerinden ifade edilip edilmediği, kentliliğinse bir yaşam tarzı olarak tezahür edip etmediğinin ortaya çıkarılmasıdır. Bu öteki algısının konumu ve boyutunun ortaya çıkarılması için önemli bir faktördür. İki bölüm etrafında şekillenen kavramsal çerçeve bu yönüyle çalışmanın mihenk taşını oluşturmaktadır. Evren olarak Konya ili ve bu ile bağlı Seçme köyü ele alınan çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinin imkan ve sınırlılıkları çerçevesinde gerçekleştirilerek çalışma son bulmuştur. Sahadan elde edilen veriler, kavramsal ve kurumsal çerçevenin eşliğinde incelenerek yorumlanmıştır. Sonuçta ise ötekileştirmeye alternatif bakış; 'sosyal kimlik kuramı' eşliğinde öteki algısının sebepleri anlatılmaya çalışarak ötekileştirme pratiklerinin azaltılabilmesi için gerekli olgular açıklanmıştır.

This study arose with the questions such as whether the peasantry and the urbanism used were used as an othering practice, whether the people living in the city and the village perceived each other as the other and the main lines of the study were determined according to the literature. For this purpose, firstly the other and the otherization concepts have been discussed in detail and then the definitions of village and urban images and the concepts of peasant and urban are tried to be explained in detail. The aim here is to find out whether the peasantry is expressed through a traditionalism and whether urbanism manifests itself as a lifestyle. This is an important factor for revealing the position and size of the other perception. In this respect, the conceptual framework formed around two parts constitutes the cornerstone of the study. In this study, the city of Konya and the village of Seçme, which is connected with this, were carried out within the framework of the possibilities and limitations of qualitative research methods. The data obtained from the field were examined and interpreted with the help of conceptual and institutional framework. The result is an alternative view to the othering; Kimlik Social Identity Theory 'and the reasons for the perception of the other are explained and the necessary facts are explained in order to reduce the otherization practices.
