Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında, Köy Enstitüleri'nden mezun olan öğretmenlerin Köy Enstitüsü öğretmen yetiştirme sistemine ilişkin görüşleri bağlamında Köy Enstitüsü öğretmen yetiştirme programının incelenmesi ve günümüz öğretmen yetiştirme sistemine yönelik çıkarımlarda bulunulması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda köy enstitüsünden mezun olan kişilerin öğretmen yetiştirme sistemine ilişkin görüşlerini ve deneyimlerini ortaya çıkarmak için fenomenoloji deseninden yararlanılmıştır. Amaçlı ve kartopu örnekleme kullanılarak ulaşılan altı kişiyle bireysel ve odak grup görüşmesi yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre, Köy Enstitüsü'nü tercih sebebi, Köy Enstitüsü'nde sıradan bir gün, öğretim programı, öğretmen-öğrenci ilişkisi, mesleki yaşam, Köy Enstitüsü'nün öğretmenlere katkıları ve günümüz eğitim sistemiyle karşılaştırılması şeklinde yedi tema tespit edilmiştir.

In this thesis study, it was aimed to deduce in terms of investigating Village Institute teacher training program and today's teacher training system in accordance with gathering opinions of teachers graduated from Village Institutes about Village Institute teacher training system and today's teacher training system. In this regard, phenomenology design was used in order to discover the opinions and experiences of teachers graduated from Village Institute on teacher training system. Individual and focus group interviews with six individuals were made via using purposive and snowball sampling techniques. According to the findings of the research, there were seven themes determined as reason for preference of Village Institute, an ordinary day in Village Institute, curriculum, teacher-student relation, professional life, contributions of Village Institute to the teachers, and comparison with today's education system.
