Özet
Bu araştırmada, Araştırma Sorgulamaya Dayalı Öğretim (ASDÖ)'in, öğrencilerin Bilimsel Süreç Becerileri (BSB)'ne olan etkisinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2006-2018 yılları arasında ASDÖ'in BSB'ne etkisini inceleyen ulusal düzeydeki 35 çalışma oluşturmaktadır. Bunlardan 29'ü ASDÖ'in BSB'ne etkisini inceleyen deney kontrol gruplu çalışmalar iken 6'sı bu çalışmaların alt gruplarından elde edilmiştir. Örneklemin belirlenmesinde araştırmacı tarafından dâhil edilme kriterlerine uygun olarak hazırlanmış kodlama formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya dâhil edilen çalışmalar YÖK-Tez, ULAKBİM ve Google Akademik veri tabanları taranarak elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada meta analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen verilerin analizinde CMA programından (Comprehensive Meta Analysis) yararlanılmış ve genel etki büyüklüğü rastgele etkiler modeline göre hesaplanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda rastgele etkiler modeline göre ASDÖ'in BSB'ne olan genel etki büyüklüğü 0,876 ile pozitif yönde ve literatüre göre orta düzeyde bulunmuştur. Bu durum deney gruplarına uygulanan ASDÖ'in, kontrol gruplarına uygulanan diğer yöntemlere kıyasla BSB'ne anlamlı düzeyde etki ettiğine işaret etmektedir. Çalışmada ulaşılan sonuçlar ışığında ASDÖ yaklaşımı ile ilgili öğretmenlere, program geliştiricilere ve araştırmacılara çeşitli öneriler sunulmuştur.

In this study, it is aimed to determine the effect of Research Inquiry Based Teaching (RIBT) on students' Scientific Process Skills (SPS). The sample of the study consists of 35 studies at national level which examined the impact of RIBT on SPS between 2006-2018. While 29 of these were experimental control group studies examining the effect of RIBT on SPS, 6 were obtained from subgroups of these studies. In the determination of the sample, the coding form prepared by the researcher in accordance with the inclusion criteria was used. The studies included in the research were obtained by scanning YÖK-Tez, ULAKBİM and Google Scholar databases. Meta-analysis method was used in the study. CMA program (Comprehensive Meta Analysis) was used in the analysis of the data obtained and the overall effect size was calculated according to the random effects model. As a result of the study, according to the random effects model, the overall effect size of RIBT on SPS was found to be positive with 0.876 and medium level according to literature. This indicates that the RIBT applied to the experimental groups had a significant effect on SPS compared to the other methods applied to the control groups. In the light of the results obtained in the study, various suggestions were presented to teachers, program developers and researchers about the RIBT approach.
