Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında Gökova Körfezine ait çok kanallı sismik yansıma verileri ile körfeze ait aktif fayların oluşumu ile tektonik yapısı ve stratigrafisinin ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Uygulanan veri işleme adımları sonucunda elde edilen kesitler üzerindeki fay yapıları belirlenmiş ve bunların yorumlanması ile tektonik harita oluşturulmuştur. Gökova havzası batı Anadolu'nun güney kesiminde bulunur. Batı Anadolu Oligo- Miyosen'den itibaren günümüze kadar gerilme süreçleri içinde şekillenmiş bir kıtasal kabuğa sahiptir. Ancak özellikle bazı havzaların havza-içi çökellerindeki kıvrım ve ters fayların kökenine dair kabuğun derin kesimine ait veriler oldukça kısıtlıdır. Gökova havzası güney ve doğu kesiminde Likya napları' nın kuzey hareketi ile ilişkili temel kayaçlar içerisinde birçok faylanma düzlemlerinden oluşan, ters faylar bulunur. Bu sistemin Oligo-Miyosen yaşlı sedimanter çökelleri deforme ettiğine dair veriler kısıtlıdır. Kabuğun derin kesimindeki deformasyonun dağılımını ve türlerini belirlemek amacı ile toplam 11 sismik yansıma kesiti değerlendirilmiştir. Buna göre batıdan doğuya doğru devrik antiklinal ve mikro senklinallerden oluşan kıvrımlar, havza çökellerinin içinde gelişmiştir. Bu kıvrımlar hem güneye hem de kuzeye eğimli yüksek açılı ve listrik düzlemli normal faylar ile kesilir. Sismik kesitler boyunca tabaka bükülmelerine bağlı kıvrımlar, listrik normal faylanma ile ilişkili olup sedimantasyona eşlik eder.

In this thesis it is aimed to reveal the evolution of the active faults, the tectonic structure, and the stratigraphy of the Gökova gulf by the multi-channel seismic reflection data.As a result of the processing steps the fault structures were determined from the seismic sections and the tectonic map was obtained from the interpreted sections. Gökova basin is located in the southern part of the western Anatolia. Western Anatolia has a continental crust that has been controlled by the strain processes from the Oligo-Miocene to the present. But the data from the origin of the reverse faults and fold which are particularly located in the inland sedimentary basins of some basins from the deeper part of the crust are very limited. There are reverse faults which are consisting of many faulting planes within the base rocks in the eastern and southern part of the Gökova basin, related to the northern movement of the lycian Nappes. The data are not adequate to show oligo-miocene sediments deformed by this system. In order to determine the distribution and types of the deformation in the deep section of the crust, 11 seismic reflection sections were evaluated. According to this, the folds formed from rollover anticlines and micro synclinals from west to east developed within the basin deposits. These folds are cut by normal faults with high angle and listric plane inclination to both south and north. Folds due to the bending of the layer along the seismic sections are associated with listric normal faulting and go along with the sedimentation.
