Özet
Bu çalışmada etik, meslek etiği, etik ihlaller ve etik ihlaller kapsamındaki suçlarla ilgili Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinin algı ve tutumlarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu algı çerçevesinde araştırmanın Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinde bir farkındalık oluşturulması ve bu noktada Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinde veya Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmeni adaylarında veya tüm öğretmenleri de kapsayacak şekilde bir bilinçlendirme sağlanması hedeflenmiştir. Araştırma, araştırmacının hazırladığı yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile yapılan nitel bir çalışmadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Kayseri il merkezine bağlı ilçelerde 2017/ 2018 eğitim öğretim yılında görev yapan 20 Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Betimsel analiz ve içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak görüşmeler değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerine göre; -Öğrencilere ayrıcalıklı davranmanın (çıkar-din, dil, ırk), öğrencilerle mahremi anlamda yakınlığın (cinsel-duygusal) suç ve etik ihlal kapsamına girdiği -Öğretmenin bilgi eksikliğinin olmasının, mesleğin sevilmemesinin, kendini güncellememesinin, velilerle aşırı samimiyetin etik ihlal olarak ifade edildiği -Öğretmenin okulda siyasi propaganda yapmasının ve öğrencilere materyal satmasının suç olarak algılandığı saptanmıştır. Suç algısının yüksek olduğu durumlarda etik ihlali göz ardı eden öğretmenler olmuştur. Öğretmenler suç kapsamındaki etik ihlaller hakkında daha çok bilinçlenirlerse, etik bilinci artarken suç teşkil eden ihlallerde de azalma olacağı düşünülmektedir. Bu konuda öğretmenlere etik ve etik ihlal-suç ilişkisi hakkında nitelikli eğitimler verilmelidir.

In this study, it is aimed to determine the perceptions and attitudes of social studies teachers about crimes within the scope of ethics, professional ethics and ethical violations. Within the framework of this perception, it is aimed to create awareness in social studies teachers of study and, at this point, to provide awareness that will cover social studies teachers or social studies teacher candidates or all teachers. The study is a qualitative study performed through the semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher. The work group of the study consists of 20 Social Studies Teachers working in the counties of Kayseri city in 2017/2018 academic year. Interviews have been evaluated by using descriptive analysis and content analysis method. As a result of study, it was found according to the social studies teachers that; - the differential treatment towards students (interest-religion, language, race) and the relationship with students in terms of privacy (sexual-emotional) were included in the scope of crime and ethical violation -the lack of knowledge of the teacher, disliking the profession, lack of self-updating, overfamiliarity with students' parents were expressed as an ethical violation. - it was perceived as a crime for the teacher to make political propaganda and sell material to the students at school. In the cases where the perception of crime was high, teachers ignored the ethical violation. If the teachers become more conscious of the ethical violations within the scope of the crime, it is thought that the ethical awareness will increase and the violations that constitute the crime will decrease. Qualified training on ethical and ethical violation-crime relationship should be given to teachers in this regard.
