Özet
Atasözleri ve deyimler, dil ve kültür ilişkisi çerçevesinde ait olduğu dili konuşan toplumun kültürünü yansıtır. Atasözleri ve deyimleri barındırması bakımından Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki metinler çok önemlidir. Ders kitaplarındaki okuma metinlerinde atasözlerine ya hiç rastlanmamakta veya çok az rastlanmaktadır. Deyimlerin ders kitaplarında yer alma durumu ise değişkenlik göstermektedir. Bu doğrultuda öğrenciler, metinlerde dilin zenginliğini yansıtan ve kültür ürünleri olan atasözleri ve deyimlerle karşılaşamamaktadırlar. Bu sorun, öğrencinin kültürünü tanıması, dilinin zenginliklerini görmesi, sözcük dağarcığını, mecazları anlama, soyutlama ve yorum yapabilme becerilerini geliştirmeleri bakımından eksikliklere yol açmaktadır. Bu eksiklikleri tespit etmek amcıyla araştırmada, örneklem olarak 5.sınıf Türkçe ders kitapları incelenmek üzere seçildi. Kitap, tarama metodu ile atasözleri ve deyimleri barındırma bakımından incelendi, elde edilen veriler doküman incelemesi ile betimsel yöntem kullanılarak incelendi ve değerlendirildi. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı yayınlarına ait 5.sınıf Türkçe ders kitabı örnekleminde atasözü ve deyimler tarama metodu ile barınma durumu tespit edildikten sonra bu yönde öğrencilere kazandırılacak söz varlığını ortaya koyması bakımından ulaşılan veriler değerlendirildi. Kitapta yer alan atasözlerinin temalara göre bulunma durumu nedir? Kitapta yer alan deyimlerin temalara göre bulunma durumu nedir? Atasözü ve deyimlerin MEB yayını kitapta temalara göre bulunma durumu değişkenlik göstermekte midir, sorularına cevaplar arandı. Bu cevaplara göre sonuçlara gidildi ve bu çalışmada, elde edilen bulgulardan yola çıkılarak eksikliklerin giderilmesi için öneriler geliştirildi.

Proverbs and idioms reflect the culture of the society that speaks the language of the language and culture. In this study the fact that the texts in Turkish textbooks are rich in terms of harboring the proverbs and idioms will ensure that the students do not remain foreign to the cultural products. Proverbs in the textbooks of the text is not seen or rarely encountered. The status of taking idioms in textbooks varies. In this direction, students do not meet with proverbs and idioms that are cultural products that reflect the richness of language in texts. This problem leads to deficiencies in the students' ability to recognize the culture, to see the richness of the language, to understand the vocabulary, to understand the metaphors, to understand and to interpret. In order to determine these deficiencies, 5th grade Turkish textbooks were selected for examination. The book was examined with respect to hosting proverbs and idioms with the method of scanning, and the data were analyzed and evaluated by using document analysis and descriptive method. After finding the proverbs and idioms in the 5th grade Turkish textbooks sample of the Ministry of Education, the data obtained in terms of revealing the vocabulary to be given to the students in this direction were evaluated. What are the proverbs in the book based on themes? What are the idioms of the book in terms of themes? According to the themes of the publication of the proverb and idioms according to the themes of the publication of the Ministry of Education, questions were searched for their questions. According to these answers, the results were evaluated and suggestions were developed to overcome the deficiencies based on the findings.
