Özet
Bu çalışma ile Emevîler Dönemi eğitim hayatının, Hz. Peygamber dönemi ve dört halife dönemine kıyasla eğitimde kurumsallaşma yolundaki ilerleme seviyesinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Emevîler Dönemi, kendinden önceki dönemlere nazaran eğitimde yaşanan değişim ve gelişimler bağlamında eğitim tarihi açısından önemli bir yere sahiptir. Beytü'l Hikme ile birlikte eğitimde kurumsallaşmaya ilk adımların atılması sürecinde yaşanan gelişmeleri anlamak, Emevîler Dönemi eğitim anlayışını bilmekten geçmektedir. Bu yüzden Emevîler Dönemi eğitim anlayışının hangi özelliklere sahip olduğunu bilmek, Din Eğitimi Biliminin dayandığı tarihsel süreci anlamak açısından önemli bir yere sahiptir. Çalışma, özellikleri itibariyle nitel bir araştırma yöntemine olup hicri 41-132 yılları ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Dokuman analizi yapılan çalışmada kültür analizi deseni tercih edilmiştir. Bu desen içerisinde veri analizi, betimsel analiz yaklaşımı ile yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda Emevîler Dönemi eğitim faaliyetleri içerisinde hangi ilimlerin ve eğitim mekânlarının yer aldığı, ders konuları, ders materyalleri, öğretmen ve öğrenci profili ve öğretim yöntemleri tespit edilmiştir. Saptanan özellikleri ile Emevîler Dönemi'ndeki eğitim faaliyetleri“geçiş dönemi”olarak nitelendirilmiştir.

The aim of this study is to determine the level of progress in the way of institutionalization in education compared to the period of Prophet Muhammad and the caliphate. The Umayyad period has an important place in the history of education in terms of changes and developments in education compared to the previous periods. To understand the developments in the process of taking the first steps in institutionalization in education together with Beythu'l Hikma is to know the educational concept of Umayyad period. Therefore, knowing the characteristics of the Umayyad education understanding has an important place in terms of understanding the historical process on which religious education is based. The study is a qualitative research method in terms of its characteristics and is limited to the years A.H. 41-132. In the study, document analysis, culture analysis pattern was preferred. In this pattern, data analysis was conducted with descriptive analysis approach. As a result of the study, which sciences and educational spaces take place in the Umayyad period educational activities, course subjects, course materials, teacher and student profile and teaching methods were determined. The educational activities in the Umayyad period were identified as“the transition period”with their determined features.
