Özet
Strateji, belirlenen amaçlara ulaşabilmek için alınan önlemler ve düzenlemelerdir. Yönetim alanında strateji, bir kurumun hedeflerine ulaşmada izleyeceği yollardır. İşletme performansı ise stratejilerin sonuçlara dönüşümünün takip edildiği göstergelerdir. Dolayısıyla işletme performansı, yönetimin kontrol işlevinin en önemli parçası olarak görülebilir. İşletmeler, farklı strateji türlerine sahiptir. Bu nedenle her strateji, farklı performans ölçütleri ile değerlendirilmelidir. Stratejik yönetimin esas amacı, işletmenin performansının yükseltilmesi ve verimliliğin arttırılmasıdır. Bu doğrultuda, çalışan performansının da üst noktada tutulması, örgüt performansını etkileyecektir. Yapılan bu çalışmanın amacı, stratejinin performansa etkisinin belirlenmesidir. Bu kapsamda, bu tez çalışmasının amacı; strateji kavramını, planlama kavramını ve bütün olarak stratejik yönetim kavramını ele alarak, stratejik yönetimin örgütsel performans üzerindeki etkilerini saptamaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda; stratejik planlama, yönlendirme, uygulama ve kontrol aşamalarının ve örgütsel performans kavramları teorik olarak incelenmiş ve stratejik yönetimin örgütsel performans üzerindeki etkileri saptanmıştır.

Strategy can be defined as a plan of action that designed to achieve specific aims. In the context of management, strategy involves the selection and implementation of an organisation's goals and objectives. Business performance measurements are used to assess the performance of the organisation to achieve the objectives defined by the strategic management of the organisation. On this view, performance measurement can be considered as the most important component of the control function of management. Since each business has different strategic plans, each strategy should be assess based on different performance parameters. The fundamental purpose of strategic management is to improve the firm's productivity and increase its performance. In this vein, improving employee performance has a positive effect on the organisation's overall performance. The main aim of this research is to examine the impact of the business strategy on performance. In this scope, the aim of this thesis is to determine the effects of strategical management on the organizational performance. By using strategical managing term as a whole without using strategy and planning in a seperate. In this direction, strategic planning, strategic orientation, strategic implementation and control terms have been examined as a theoric and the effects of strategical managing on organizational performance have been determined
