Özet
Bilim ve teknolojide meydana gelen gelişmeler doğrultusunda ülkeler arasında sıkı bir rekabet yaşanmaktadır. Var olan rekabet sayesinde ülkeler dünya pazarında kalıcı olabilmek için çözümler araştırmaktadırlar. Bu doğrultuda bilim ve teknolojide meydana gelen yeniliklere ayak uydurabilmek ve daha üst seviyeye çıkabilmek için fen öğretim programlarını revize etmektedirler. Bilimin doğası, bilimsel okuryazarlık ve bilimsel sorgulama fen öğretimi için artık temel oluşturmaktadır. Bu sebeple yapılan araştırmada öğrencilerin liseye kadar aldıkları fen eğitiminin bilimsel sorgulama anlayışlarına olan etkisi araştırılmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda dört farklı okul türünde (fen lisesi, anadolu lisesi, anadolu imam hatip lisesi ve mesleki teknik anadolu lisesi) liseye başlayan öğrencilerin bilimsel sorgulama anlayışları araştırılmıştır. 2018-2019 eğitim ve öğretim yılında 15 okuldan 3067 öğrenciye VASI ölçeği uygulanmış ve araştırmada örneklem grubunun büyüklüğünden dolayı betimleyici tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin ölçeğe verdikleri yanıtlar sonucunda (x̄=0,488) bilimsel sorgulama anlayışlarının zayıf olduğu görülmüştür. Uygulanan tek yönlü ANOVA testi sonucu okul türlerinin bilimsel sorgulama anlayışları arasında anlamlı farkın olduğu (F(3, 3063)= 308,331; p=.000) görülmüştür. Ayrıca yapılan T testi sonucunda öğrencilerin bilimsel sorgulama anlayışı ile cinsiyetleri arasında anlamlı bir farkın olduğu ve kız öğrencilerin bilimsel sorgulama anlayışlarının (x̄=0,610) erkek öğrencilerinden (x̄=0,419) daha iyi olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

In line with the developments in science and technology, there is a strong competition between countries. Thanks to the existing competition, countries are searching for solutions to be permanent in the world market. In this context, they are revising their science curriculum in order to keep up with the innovations in science and technology and to reach higher levels. The nature of science, scientific literacy and scientific inquiry are now the basis for science teaching. For this reason, the effect of science education on the students' understandings of scientific inquiry were investigated. For this purpose, understanding of the scientific inquiry of the students who started high school from four different school types (science high school, Anatolian high school, Anatolian Imam Hatip high school and vocational-technical high school) were investigated. In the 2018-2019 academic year, the VASI scale was applied to 3067 students from 15 schools and a descriptive screening model was used in the study due to the size of the sample group. As a result of the students' responses to the scale (x̄ = 0.488), it was seen that their understanding of scientific inquiry was weak. As a result of the one-way ANOVA test, it was seen that there was a significant difference (F (3, 3063) = 308,331; p = .000) between the scientific questioning understanding of school types. In addition, it was concluded that there was a significant difference between the students 'scientific questioning understanding and gender, and the female students' scientific questioning understanding (x 0 = 0.610) was higher than male students (x̄ = 0.419).
