Özet
Platon felsefesinin amacı alêtheia'nın açığa çıkartılarak, psukhe'nin mağaranın karanlığından güneşin aydınlığına çevrilmesidir. Platon mitosu bu süreçte engel teşkil ettiği gerekçesiyle eleştirmektedir. Logos ise, felsefenin temel dayanağı olarak kabul edilmektedir. Ancak Platon'un diyaloglarda logos ile birlikte sıklıkla mitosa müracaat etmesi, mitos eleştirisinin bazı kayıtlarla sınırlı olduğu; logos ve mitosun alêtheia'nın açığa çıkartılması bağlamında bazı imkânlara sahip olduğu sonucunu doğurmaktadır. Alêtheia'nın açığa çıkması bağlamında philosophia faaliyetin“diyalektik yöntem”,“eros”,“anamnesis”boyutları üzerinden logos ve mitosun sahip olduğu imkânların, logos-mitos arası ilişkinin mahiyetinin anlaşılması mümkün gözükmektedir.

The aim of Plato's philosophy is to reveal alêtheia and to turn the psukhe from the darkness of the cave to the light of the sun. Plato criticizes the myth that it constitutes an obstacle in this process. The Logos, on the other hand, is regarded as the mainstay of philosophy. However, Plato's frequent application of mythos with logos in dialogues indicates that myth criticism is limited to some conditions; logos and mythos have the possibility to expose alêtheia. For the expose of alêtheia, it is possible to understand the nature of the dialectical relationship between logos and mythos through the“dialectical method”,“eros”,“anamnesis”in the activity of philosophia.
