Özet
Hipnotik Yeniden İşleme Terapisi (HYT), Dr. Haluk Alan tarafından geliştirilen çift taraflı uyarım ve göz hareketlerinin hipnoz ile entegrasyonunu içeren bir terapi yöntemidir. Bu tez çalışmasında Adaptif Bilgi İşleme Teorisi ve Tahmine Dayalı İşleme Teorisinden temel alan HYT'nin nöropsikofizyolojik etki mekanizması incelenmektedir. Araştırmanın esas amacı olan, travmatik yaşam deneyimlerinin stres yaratan olumsuz etkilerinin azaltılmasında HYT ve Maruz Bırakma Terapisinin etkinliği incelenmiştir. Daha öncesinde bu tarz çalışmalar yapılmış ancak sadece vaka sunumları ile ilgili sonuçlar paylaşılmıştır. Türkiye'de ilk defa gerçekleştirilen bu araştırma bir pilot çalışma niteliğindedir. Bu çalışmada öne sürülen entegrasyonun etkinliğini ölçmek amacıyla bir deney düzenlenmiştir. Deney grubuna HYT, kontrol grubuna ise Maruz Bırakma Terapisi uygulanmış ve sonuçlar karşılaştırılmıştır. Toplamda 24 katılımcı ile gerçekleşen deneyde Olayların Etkisi Ölçeği (IES-R) ve sübjektif ölçümlere (SUD, PGD) göre HYT'nin Maruz Bırakma Terapisine göre daha anlamlı sonuçlar verdiği görülmüştür. GSR (deri iletkenliği) ve HR (kalp atım hızı) otonomik ölçümleri verilerin hatalı olması sebebiyle tespit edilememiştir. Sadece HYT grubuna Standford Hipnotik Yatkınlık Ölçeği uygulanmış ve elde edilen sonuçlara göre hipnotik yatkınlık ile HYT'nin etkinliği arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıştır.

EXAMINATION OF HYT (HYPNOTIC REPROCESSING THERAPY) AS AN INTEGRATIVE APPROACH TO TRAUMA WITH AUTONOMIC MEASUREMENTS Hypnotic Reprocessing Therapy (HRT) is a therapy method that includes bilateral stimulation and integration of eye movements with hypnosis developed by Dr. Haluk Alan. In this thesis, the neuropsychophysiological mechanism of action of HYT is examined, which is based on The Adaptive Information Processing Theory and The Predictive Processing Theory. The effectiveness of HRT and Exposure Therapy was investigated in reducing the stressful negative effects of traumatic life experiences, which is the main purpose of the study. Similar studies have been done before, but only results related to case reports were shared. This is a pilot study that is performed for the first time in Turkey. In this study, an experiment was organized to measure the effectiveness of the proposed integration. HRT was applied to the experimental group and Exposure Therapy was applied to the control group and the results were compared. There were a total of 24 participants in the experiment and it was seen that HRT gave more meaningful results than Exposure Therapy according to the Impact of Events Scale (IES-R) and subjective measurements (SUD, PGD). GSR (skin conductivity) and HR (heart rate) autonomic measurements could not be determined due to the errors of data. Standford Hypnotic Susceptibility Scale was applied only to the HRT group. According to the results obtained, no significant difference was found between the hypnotic susceptibility and the effectiveness of HRT.
