Özet
Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, Türkiye'deki alternatif eğitim felsefesine sahip okulların, alternatif eğitim uygulamaları bakımından, öğretmen, yönetici ve veli görüşlerine göre benzeştiği ve farklılaştığı yönleri ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan olgubilim (fenomenoloji) deseni kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama yöntemi olarak ise 'yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu' kullanılmış olup; araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan“Kişisel Bilgi Formu”ile birlikte“Yarı Yapılandırılmış Görüşme Formu”araştırmanın veri toplama araçlarını oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, amaçlı örnekleme yönteminden maksimum çeşitlilik örneklemesi yoluyla beş farklı alternatif okuldan seçilen, toplamda 15 öğretmen, 5 yönetici ve 5 veli oluşturmuştur. Verilerin analizinde, betimsel analiz tekniği kullanılmış olup, veriler görüşme formunda yer alan sorulardan oluşturulan temalar doğrultusunda yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, Türkiye'deki alternatif eğitim felsefesine sahip okullar bakış açısı, fiziki ortamı, öğretim programı, kullanılan materyaller, değerlendirme yöntemleri gibi birçok açıdan benzerlik göstermekle birlikte, fiziki şartlar ve yaklaşımların pedagojik altyapılarından kaynaklanan bazı uygulamalar bakımından farklılık taşımaktadır. Eğitimde var olan bazı sorunlara çözüm getirecek potansiyeli olduğu düşünülen alternatif eğitimin Türkiye'de yayılması için, alandaki tüm eğitimcilerin tek bir çatı altında toplanılması gerektiği, araştırma sonucunda ortaya çıkan önerilerden biridir.

The main purpose of this paper is to compare and contrast the practice of schools following alternative education philosophy in Turkey by referring to the opinions of teachers, administrators, and parents to reach a synoptic view of the issue. For this purpose, the phenomenology design, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. As the data collection method, 'semi-structured interview form' was used. Further to that, The“Personal Information Form”prepared by the researcher and the“Semi-Structured Interview Form”formed the data collection tools of the research. The study group of the research consisted of 15 teachers, 5 administrators and 5 parents who were selected from five alternative schools by maximum variation sampling from the purposive sampling method. Descriptive analysis technique was used in the analysis of the data and the data were interpreted following the themes formed from the questions in the interview form. According to the research results, schools with alternative education philosophy in Turkey, have similarities in many aspects such as perspective, physical environment curriculum, materials used and assessment methods. On the other hand, they also have differentiations in terms of physical conditions and some practices stemming from the pedagogical background of the approaches. This combination of findings provides some support for the conceptual premise that all the educators in the field should be gathered under a single roof is one of the foremost recommendations of the research for the dissemination of alternative education which is thought to bring solutions to some existing problems in education.
