Özet
Bu araştırma, ortaokul yedinci sınıf öğrencilerinin afetler konusundaki bilgi düzeyleri ve farkındalıklarının belirlenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirildi. Bu tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel araştırma Sapanca'da 9 ortaokulda öğrenim gören 389 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirildi. Verilerin toplanmasında araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan Tanıtıcı Bilgi ve Afet Farkındalık Formu ile 'Çocuklarda Afet Bilgi Düzeyi testi' kullanıldı.Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistiksel testler, Kolmogorov Smirnov testi, Anova, Student-t testi, Ki-Kare testi, Continuity (Yates) düzeltmeli ve Fisher Tam Ki-Kare testi ve Pearson Korelasyon testi kullanıldı. Öğrencilerin yaş ortalaması 12,17±0,73 olup, %50,4'ü erkekti. Öğrencilerin %48,6'sının okul başarı durumlarının iyi, %29'unun orta olduğu belirlendi. Öğrencilerin daha önce %82,5'inin deprem, %53,8'inin sel yaşadıkları tespit edildi. Öğrencilerin %76,1'inin afetler konusunda daha önceden eğitim aldığı ve %30,7'sinin AFAD, %67,2'sinin okuldan eğitim aldığı tespit edildi. Öğrencilerin afetler ile ilgili soruları %20,3 ile %67,6 arasında doğru cevaplandırdığı saptandı. Öğrencilerin afet bilgi düzeyi testi puan ortalaması 11,69±3,87'dir. This research was fulfilled to detect the information level and awareness about disasters of seventh grade students in the secondary school. This research, which was descriptive and cross-sectional, was fulfilled with 389 students of 9 secondary schools in Sapanca. In collection of data, Descriptive Information and Disaster-Awareness Form prepared by the researchers and Disaster Data Level Test were used. In evaluation of data, Descriptive Statistic Test, Kolmogorov Smirnov Test, Anova, Student-t Test, Chi-Square Test, Continuity (Yates) Correction Test, Fisher's Exact Chi-Square Test and Pearson Correlation Test were used. The average age of the students was 12,17±0,73 and 54% of them was male. It was detected that 48,6% of the students' academic achievement was good and 29% of them was medium. It was confirmed that 82,5% of the students experienced an earthquake and 53,8% of them experienced a flood before. It was detected that 76,1% of the students were educated about the disasters; 30,7% of them were educated by AFAD and 67,2% of them were educated at schools. It was confirmed that the students answered the questions about disasters correctly at the rate of between 20,3% and 67,6%.
