Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı lise öğrencilerinin öznel iyi oluş düzeylerinin, yaşam amaçları ve umut düzeyleri açısından incelenmesidir. Yöntem: Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2019-2020 eğitim öğretim yılında Muş ilinde bulunan 8 liseye devam eden 928 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak“Kişisel Bilgi Formu”,“Pozitif Psikoterapi Bağlamında Ergenler İçin Yaşam Amaçları Ölçeği”,“Sürekli Umut Ölçeği”ve“Ergenlerde Öznel İyi Oluş Ölçeği”kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin analizi için SPSS programı kullanılarak; betimsel analizler, bağımsız örneklemler için t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi, Pearson korelasyon analizi ve çoklu regresyon analizi uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Öznel iyi oluşun sınıf düzeyi, okul türü ve okul tercih sebebine göre farklılaştığı fakat cinsiyet ve yaşanılan yere göre farklılaşmadığı belirlenmiştir. Öznel iyi oluş ve akademik not ortalaması arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunamamıştır. Uygulanan korelasyon analizinde yaşam amaçları ve öznel iyi oluş arasında düşük düzeyde pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki; öznel iyi oluş ve umut arasında pozitif yönde ve orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Umut ve yaşam amaçlarının öznel iyi oluşun %17.6'sını yordadığı bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Araştırmada öznel iyi oluşun; sınıf düzeyi, okul türü ve devam edilen okulu tercih etme sebepleri açısından farklılaştığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca umut ve yaşam amaçlarının öznel iyi oluşu pozitif yönde anlamlı olarak yordadığı saptanmıştır. Dolayısıyla lise öğrencilerinin öznel iyi oluşlarını artırmaya yönelik uygulamalarda bu bulguların dikkate alınmasının faydalı olacağı düşünülmektedir.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to examine subjective well-being levels of high school students in terms of life goals and hope levels. Method: In this study, the correlational survey model was applied. The study group of the research consists of 928 students attending 8 high schools in the city of Muş in the 2019-2020 academic year. In the research,“Personal Information Form”,“Life Aims Scale for Adolescents in the Context of Positive Psychotherapy”,“Continuous Hope Scale”and“Subjective Well-Being Scale in Adolescents”were used in the study. Using the SPSS program to analyze the data obtained in the research; descriptive analysis, t-test for independent samples, one way variance analysis, Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were applied. Findings: It has been determined that subjective well-being differs according to grade level, school type and school preference reason, but not according to gender and place of residence. No significant relationship was found between subjective well-being and academic grade point average. In the correlation analysis applied, a low level positive relationship between life goals and subjective well-being; There was a positive and moderately significant relationship between subjective well-being and hope. It was found that hope and life goals predicted 17.6% of subjective well-being. Result: Subjective well-being in the research; it has been determined that it differs in terms of grade level, school type and reasons for preferring the attending school. In addition, it was determined that hope and life goals predicted subjective well-being positively and significantly. Therefore, it is thought that it would be beneficial to take these findings into consideration in applications to increase subjective well-being of high school students.
