Özet
Amaç: Araştırma, hemşirelik bölümünde öğrenim gören lisans öğrencilerinin hemşirelik mesleğine yönelik toplumsal cinsiyet tutumlarının belirlenmesinde geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı geliştirmek amacıyla planlanmış metodolojik bir çalışmadır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırmanın evrenini Ağrı İl merkezinde yer alan Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen Üniversitesi Sağlık Yüksekokulu Hemşirelik Bölümü'nde öğrenim gören tüm hemşirelik lisans öğrencileri oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada herhangi bir örneklem seçim yöntemine gidilmeden tüm öğrencilere ulaşılması hedeflenmiştir. Araştırma 09-13 Mart 2020 tarihleri arasında araştırmaya katılmaya gönüllü olan 238 hemşirelik lisans öğrencisi ile tamamlanmıştır. Araştırmada hemşirelik öğrencilerinin sosyo-demografik özelliklerine ilişkin anket formu ve araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen Hemşirelik Öğrencilerinin Mesleğe Yönelik Toplumsal Cinsiyet Tutum Ölçeği'nin taslak formu kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan hemşirelik lisans öğrencilerinin yaş ortalaması 21.37 ± 2.39 olup, öğrencilerin %58.2'si kadın, %65.5'i hemşirelik bölümünü isteyerek seçtiğini ifade ederken, yalnızca %4.3'ü (n = 10) hemşirelik mesleğinde erkeklerin yer almaması gerektiğine yönelik görüş bildirmiştir. Ölçeğin madde havuzunu oluşturan 41 maddeden içerik (kapsam) geçerliliği sonucunda hiçbir madde çıkartılmamıştır. Veri setindeki kayıp veri yüzdesi %0.1 olup, yapılan analizler sonucunda veri setinin normal dağılım gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Madde ayırt edicilik analizleri sonucunda maddelerden elde edilen puanların üst ve alt grup ortalamaları arasında tüm maddeler için anlamlı bir fark (p < .01) olduğu saptanmıştır. Kaiser-Mayer-Olkin ve Barlett's testi sonucunda veri setinin açımlayıcı faktör analizi yapmaya uygun olduğu, üç alt boyutta toplanan 10 maddenin toplam varyansın %57.11'ini açıkladığı belirlenmiştir. Birinci alt boyut“Erkek Cinsiyet Rolü”, ikinci alt boyut“Mesleki Kalıp Yargılar”, üçüncü alt boyut ise“Cinsiyete Dayalı Ayrımcılık”şeklinde isimlendirilmiştir. Ölçeğin toplam Cronbach Alpha değeri .627, duyarlılığı %64, özgüllüğü ise %54 olarak saptanmıştır. Sonuç: Sonuç olarak, geliştirilen ölçeğin hemşirelik öğrencilerinin mesleğe yönelik toplumsal cinsiyet tutumlarını belirlemede kullanılabilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Objective: The research is a methodological study planned to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool in determining the gender attitudes of undergraduate students studying in the nursing department towards the nursing profession. Materials and Methods: The universe of the study was composed of all nursing undergraduate students studying in Agri Ibrahim Cecen University Health School Nursing Department located in Agri city center. In the research, it was aimed to reach all students without using any sample selection method. The research was completed with 238 nursing undergraduate students who volunteered to participate in the study between 09-13 March 2020. In the study, the questionnaire form regarding the socio-demographic characteristics of the nursing students and the draft form of the Nursing Students' Gender Attitude Scale Towards Profession developed by the researcher were used. Results: The average age of the nursing undergraduate students participating in the study was 21.37 ± 2.39, 58.2% of the students stated that they chose the nursing department willingly, while only 4.3% (n = 10) stated that men should not take part in the nursing profession. As a result of the content (scope) validity, no item was removed from the 41 items that make up the item pool of the scale. The percentage of lost data in the data set is 0.1%, and it was determined that the data set showed normal distribution as a result of the analysis. As a result of the item discrimination analysis, it was determined that there is a significant difference (p <.01) for all items between the upper and lower group averages of the scores obtained from the items. As a result of the Kaiser-Mayer-Olkin and Bartlett's test, it was determined that the data set was suitable for exploratory factor analysis, and 10 items collected in three sub-dimensions explained 57.11% of the total variance. The first sub-dimension was named as“Male Gender Role”, the second sub-dimension as“Occupational Stereotypes”and the third sub-dimension as“Gender Based Discrimination”. The total Cronbach Alpha value of the scale was .627, the sensitivity was 64%, and the specificity was 54%. Conclusion: As a result, it was determined that the developed scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool that can be used to determine the gender attitudes of nursing students towards the profession.
