Özet
Günümüz itibarıyla gençler, tecrübe faktörü başta olmak üzere, kendilerinden istihdam alanlarına dair beklenen özellikler ve mevcut iş arama metotları ile iş bulma konusunda yetersiz olmaktadır. Bu doğrultuda mevcut iktisadi yapıda verimli dönemlerde bile işsiz genç nüfusun varlığı veya söz konusu nüfusun güvence içermeyen sözleşmelere tabi olması kaçınılmaz olmaktadır. Aşırı durağan bir yapıda ya da kriz sürecindeki istihdam alanlarında farklı bir iş edinmek isteyen genç kesimin, erişkin personele oranla daha az tercih edildiği görülmektedir. Bu sonucunda da genç kesim, iş bulma konusunda güçlük yaşamaktadır. Bu çalışmada 2005-2020 yılları arasında aylık veriler baz alınarak genç işsizlik, sanayi üretim endeksi arasındaki ilişki, VAR modeli kullanılmak suretiyle test edilmiştir. Nihai olarak ise genç işsizliği, işsizliği, istihdamı ve genç istihdamı ile sanayi üretim endeksi arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir

Globally, young people are not able to gain the economic strength to find a job with the expected characteristics, experience and methods of looking for a job in the field of employment. In this direction, even in productive moments in the economic structure, it is inevitable that the unemployed young population will be subject to contracts that do not contain guarantees. Young people who are extremely stationary and want to get a different job in the employment field during the crisis are preferred in terms of the possibility of being out of work compared to adult personnel. At this stage, there is difficulty in finding a job. In this study we tested the relationship between youth unemployment, industrial production index, which transmitted data between 2005 and 2020, by establishing the VAR model. First of all, we tested the relationship between youth unemployment, youth employment and industrial production was examined.
