Özet

Bu tez araştırmasının amacı konusu itibariyle eğitimde teknoloji entegrasyonu modellerine, uygulamalara ve engellere genel bir bakış sunmaktır. Bu araştırma ile teknoloji entegrasyonu bilimetrik ve içerik analizi yöntemi ile bütüncül ve spesifik bir yaklaşımla ele alınmış olup bu açıdan önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir. Çalışmada eğitimde teknoloji entegrasyonu ile ilgili modeller ve engelleri konu alan uygulamalar, ERIC veri tabanında yapılmış mevcut çalışmalar açısından ele alınarak bütüncül ve spesifik bakış açısıyla incelenmiştir. İlk kapsamda yapılan çalışmada büyük veri analizi yöntemlerinden veri madenciliği yöntemi ile bilimetrik açıdan; özet, başlık, yapıldığı ülke ve tür değişkenleri göz önüne alınarak her bir değişken için ayrı ayrı“teknoloji entegrasyonu açısından elde edilen dönemsel farklılıklar”,“modeller ve teknoloji entegrasyonu açısından dönemsel farklılıklar”ve“engeller ve teknoloji entegrasyonu açısından dönemsel farklılıklar”ın nasıl değiştiği sorularına ilişkin yanıtlar ile“eğitimde teknoloji entegrasyonu ile ilgili yapılan çalışmaların yıllara göre dağılımları”nın geniş bir perspektiften ortaya konulması söz konusudur. İkinci kapsamda ERIC veri tabanında içerik analizi yöntemine başvurarak“teknoloji (technology)”ve“entegrasyon (integration)”ve“modeller (models)”ve“engeller (barriers)”sorgusu ile indekslenen çalışmalar;“ülke, tür, yıl ve temele aldığı araştırma paradigmaları”,“elde ettiği sonuçlar”,“sahip olduğu sınırlılıklar”ve“sunduğu öneriler”açısından incelenmiştir. Çalışmada en çok dikkat çeken bulgular arasında 2008 yılından sonra teknoloji entegrasyonu ile ilgili yapılan çalışmaların sayısında artış olduğu; teknoloji entegrasyonu, modeller ve engeller ile ilgili geçmişten günümüze yapılan çalışmaların başlık ve özetlerine technology, teacher ve learning kelimelerinin sıklıkla yansıdığı görülmektedir. Elde edilen veriler çalışmaların yapıldığı ülke açısından incelendiğinde teknoloji entegrasyonu açısından Avustralya, Türkiye, ABD ve Kanada'nın modeller bağlamında ABD, Avustralya ve Türkiye'nin, engeller bağlamında da Avustralya, ABD ve Türkiye menşeili çalışmaların öne çıktığı görünmektedir. Son olarak yapılan çalışmaların tür değişkenine göre incelenmesi sonucunda report research doctoral-dissertations teknoloji entegrasyonu ve buna ek olarak reports-evaluative, modeller; journal articles türündeki çalışmalar da teknoloji entegrasyonu ve engeller ile ilgili yapılan çalışmalarda öne çıkmaktadır. İçerik analizi sonuçlarına göre ise ilgili sorgu kapsamında teknoloji entegrasyonu temalı elde edilen 16 araştırmanın çoğunun 2013-2019 yılları arasında yoğunlaştığı ve yoğunlukla tez ve makale çalışması olduğu ile daha çok ABD'de yürütüldüğü görülmektedir. Ayrıca çalışmaların temele aldığı paradigmaların da hem nitel hem nicel hem de karma araştırma yöntemleri temelinde dengeli bir şekilde dağıldığı da görülmektedir. Son olarak incelenen çalışmaların elde ettikleri sonuçlar kaynak, öğreten ve öğrenen; öne sürdüğü sınırlılıklar, yöntembilim ve sunduğu öneriler ise eğitim ve ölçme değerlendirme ve iyileştirme teması altında farklı kategoriler ve kodlar ile incelenmiş; elde edilen sonuçlar ilgili literatür temelinde tartışılmış ve araştırma sonuçlarına dayalı olarak gelecek çalışmalara ve araştırmacılara öneriler sunulmuştur.

The aim of this thesis research is to present an overview of technology integration models, practices and obstacles in education in terms of its subject matter. With this research, technology integration has been handled with a holistic and specific approach with the method scienceetrics and content analysis, and it is considered to be important in this respect. In the study, the applications related to technology integration in education and the implementations about the obstacles were examined from a holistic and specific point of view by considering the existing studies made in the ERIC database. In the study conducted within the first scope, data mining method, one of the big data analysis methods, use in terms of scienceetrics; considering the summary, title, country and type variables for each variable,“periodic differences in terms of technology integration”,“periodic differences in terms of models and technology integration”and“periodic differences in terms of barriers and technology integration”the answers to the questions about how it has changed and“the distribution of technology integration studies in education over the years”are put forward from a broad perspective. In the second context, studies indexed with the query“technology”and“integration”and“models”and“barriers”by using the content analysis method in the ERIC database; it has been examined in terms of“country, species, year and research paradigms on which it is based”,“its results”,“its limitations”and“its recommendations”. Among the most striking findings of the research is that the number of studies on technology integration has increased after 2008; it is seen that the words technology, teacher and learning are frequently reflected in the titles and summaries of the studies on technology integration, models and obstacles from past to present. Finally, as a result of examining the studies according to the type variable, report research doctoral-dissertations technology integration and additionally reports-evaluative, models; Journal articles are also prominent in studies on technology integration and obstacles. According to the results of the content analysis, it is seen that most of the 16 studies obtained with the theme of technology integration within the scope of the relevant query were concentrated between 2013-2019 with thesis and article studies and were mostly conducted in the USA. In addition, it is seen that the paradigms that the studies are based on are distributed in a balanced way on the basis of both qualitative, quantitative and mixed research methods. Finally, the results of the investigated studies are the source, teacher and learner; the limitations he puts forward, methodology; On the other hand, his suggestions were examined under the theme of education and measurement, evaluation and improvement with different categories and codes; The results obtained were discussed on the basis of the relevant literature and recommendations were made to future studies and researchers based on the research results.
