Özet
Bu tez beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm giriş kısmı olup, tez hakkında genel bilgiler verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde tezde kullanılacak temel tanımlar ve teoremler verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde Bernstein-Kantorovich operatörün kurulumundan bahsedilerek, yaklaşım özellikleri ile ilgili teoremler ve bu teoremlerde kullanılacak bazı eşitlikler elde edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte Voronovskaya-tipli teorem ve ispatı gösterilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde Kantorovich-tipli q-Bernstein operatörleri tanımlanmıştır. Bu operatörün yaklaşım özellikleri ve yaklaşım hızı ile ilgili teoremler verilmiştir. Beşinci bölümde modifiye q-Bernstein-Kantorovich operatörlerinin yakınsaklık özellikleri verilmiştir. Yakınsaklık hızının, süreklilik modülü yardımıyla hesaplandığı gösterilmiştir.

This thesis contains five sections.The first section is the introduction section, some information is given about mathematical analysis and approximation theory.The second section contains necessary basic definitions and theorems used in the thesis.The third section contains the construction of the Bernstein-Kantorovich type operators, some approximations theorems and some equalities used in these theorems.In addition to this,Voronovskaya type theorem is given. The fourth section, Kantorovich type q-Bernstein operators are studied. Some theorems related to approximation properties are given. In the final section, some approximation properties of modified q-Bernstein-Kantorovich operators are given. With the help of the modulus of continuity, the rate of convergence is investigated.
