Özet

Amaç: Araştırma kadınların, ebelerin ve hekimlerin doğum ünitesi ile ilgili algılarını belirlemek ve lohusalar tarafından doğum ünitelerinin fiziksel, ruhsal ve sosyal yönlerden doğum ortamı memnuniyetine etkisinin değerlendirilmesi üzerine bir ölçüm aracı geliştirmek amacıyla planlanmış karma desen bir çalışmadır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırmada karma desen olarak kabul edilen keşfedici sıralı desen kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın veri toplamasında araştırma kriterlerine uyum sağlayan, sosyal medya vb. uygulamalarla ulaşılabilen çalışmaya katılmaya gönüllü katılımcılar ile online yöntem kullanılmıştır. İlk olarak nitel aşamada 5 gebe, 5 lohusa, 5 ebe ve 5 hekim toplamda 20 katılımcı ile görüşmeler yapılarak içerik analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Nicel aşama için, literatür incelemesi ve nitel çalışma sonucu elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda geliştirilen Doğum Ünitesi Memnuniyet Değerlendirme Taslak ölçeği, lohusaların (n=435) doğum ortamı memnuniyetlerini değerlendirmek üzere kullanılmıştır. Ölçek geçerlik analizlerinde kapsam geçerliği, Açımlayıcı faktör analizi ve Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi; güvenirlik analizlerinde madde analizleri, iç tutarlık, zaman göre değişmezlik değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Araştırmanın nitel aşamasında katılımcıların ideal doğum ünitesi görüşlerini belirleyen faktörlere ilişkin nitel verilere göre tema 5 alt kategori (Hastanenin fiziki özellikleri, Doğum odası özellikleri, Mahremiyet, Estetik ve Destek) altında toplanmıştır. Nitel bulgular ve literatür taraması ışığında Doğum Ünitesi Memnuniyet Değerlendirme Ölçeği için oluşturulan 59 madde için alınan uzman görüşü doğrultusunda 42 maddelik taslak ölçek ile toplanan verilerin analizi sonucunda 30 madde ve 5 alt boyuttan (İletişim ve bakım, Doğum odasının fiziki özellikleri, Konfor, Doğumu destekleyici olanaklar, Dekorasyon ve estetik) oluşan bir ölçek elde edilmiştir. Sonuç: Sonuç olarak, geliştirilen ölçeğin lohusarın doğum ortamı memnuniyetlerini değerlendirmek üzere kullanılabilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Objective: The research is a mixed design study designed to determine the perceptions of women, midwives and physicians about the delivery unit and to develop a measurement tool for the evaluation of the effect of delivery units on the satisfaction of the delivery environment in terms of physical, mental and social aspects by postnatal women. Materials and Methods: The exploratory sequential design, which is accepted as a mixed design, was used in the study. In the data collection of the study, social media, etc., which comply with the research criteria. The online method was used with the participants who volunteered to participate in the study, which can be accessed through the applications. First of all, in the qualitative stage, content analysis was carried out by interviewing 20 participants in total, 5 pregnant women, 5 postnatal women, 5 midwives and 5 physicians. For the quantitative phase, the Birth Unit Satisfaction Assessment Scale, which was developed in line with the data obtained as a result of the literature review and qualitative study, was used to evaluate the satisfaction of the postpartum women (n=435) with the birth environment. Content validity, Exploratory factor analysis and Confirmatory factor analysis in scale validity analysis; In reliability analyzes, item analysis, internal consistency, and time constancy were evaluated. Results: In the qualitative phase of the research, the theme was grouped under 5 sub-categories (Physical features of the hospital, Features of the birth room, Privacy, Aesthetics and Support), according to the qualitative data on the factors determining the participants' views on the ideal delivery unit. In the light of qualitative findings and literature review, as a result of the analysis of the data collected with a 42-item draft scale in line with the expert opinion for 59 items created for the Birth Unit Satisfaction Evaluation Scale, 30 items and 5 sub-dimensions (Communication and care, Physical characteristics of the birth room, Comfort, Supporting the birth, Decoration and aesthetics) was obtained. Conclusion: As a result, it has been determined that the developed scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool that can be used to evaluate the postnatal women's birth environment satisfaction.
