The study addresses the Islamic scholar Al-Kâfiyajî's Effort in Qur'anic Sciences and Principles of Exegesis through his book“al-Taysîr fi Qawa'id Ilm alTafsir”. This study is important because it is the first of many steps to attempt to identify principles of interpretation. To begin, the researcher will introduce Al-Kâfiyajî by shedding light on his time and his life in terms of the most prominent and important factors in building a scientific character. After that the researcher will introduce the book“al-Taysir”. Then the researcher will explore the views of Al-Kâfiyajî in the Qur`anic Science and detail his positions from the Islamic scholars on controversial issues. The researcher will explore the method of Al-Kâfiyajî on the some Qur`anic Science issues like definition of intrepretation (Tafsir) and explanation (te`vil), muhkam and mutashabih, asbab an nüzul etc. Finally, the reseacher will devote a chapter to talk about Al-Kâfiyajî's views on the principles of interpretation. The purpose of this research is to identify the method of Al-Kâfiyajî on the inference of the Principles of Exegesis along with the accuracy of these rules by comparing the“Kitab al-Taysir”and the other books in the Principles of Exegesis and the Qur`anic Sciences. In conclusion, the study deals with the sources of Al-Kâfiyajî's writing. And lastly, the researcher will discuss how Al-Kâfiyajî's influenced the Islamic scholars 821 before him. In addition, showing the influence of Al-Kâfiyajî on those who came after him in the fields of Quranic Sciences and the Principles of Exegesis
