Özet

67 7.SUMMARY INVESTIGATION OF SERUM LEVELS OF LIPIDS, LIPOPROTEINS AND APOLIPOPROTEINS IN ANGIOGRAPHICALLY ASSESSED CORONARY ARTERY DISEASE In the present study serum total cholesterol (TC), trigliseride (TG), phospholipids (PL), low densty lipoprotein- cholesterol (LDL-C), high densty lipoprotein-cholesterol ( HDL-C), HDL2-C, HDL3-C, total free cholesterol (T-FC), HDL-free cholesterol (HDL-FC), HDL3-FC, apolipoprotein A-l (Apo A-l), apolipoprotein B (Apo B) and lipoprotein (a) (Lp (a)) levels of totally 108 subjects were determined as control or patients with coronary artery disease according to angiography. Of the subjects 47 were women between 45-72 years of age and 61 were men between 31-73 years of age. Subjects were grouped as follows: female patients group, male patient group, all patients with coronary artery disease (CAD), single, double and triple vessel disease groups. In the female group Lp(a), Apo B, T-FC levels and Apo B/ Apo A-l ratio of the patients were significantly higher than those of controls while HDL2-K level and HDL2-C/HDL3-C and HDL2-C/HDL-C ratios were decreased. There was no significant difference between TG, Apo A-l, PL, HDL-C, LDL-C, and HDL3-FC levels and HDL-C/TC ratio of both groups. In the male group Lp(a), and TC levels and Apo B/Apo A-l and LDL-C/HDL- C ratios were significantly higher than those of controls. HDL2-C, HDL-C and Apo A-l levels and HDL2-C/HDL-C, HDL2-C/HDL3-C and HDL-C/TC ratios were lower. There was no signifiant difference between Apo B, TG, PL, LDL-C, HDb-C, T-FC, HDL-FC and HDL3-FC levels of both groups. Lp(a) and TC levels and LDL-C/HDL-C ratio of single dauble and triple vessel groups were significantly higher compared to those of controls. HDL2-C68 level and HDL2-C/HDL-C and HDL2-C/ HDb-C ratios were lower. Apo A-l and HOL-C levels of triple vessel group were significantly lower those that of controls. Apo B and LOL-C were significantly increased and HDL-C/TC decreased in double and triple vessel groups. There was no significant difference between the other parameters of vessel groups and controls. Regardles to their sexes, Lp(a) LDL-C, Apo B and TC levels and LDL- C/HDL-C ratio of all patients with CAD were significantly higher than those of controls and HDL2-C/HDL3-C, HDL2-C/HDL-C and HDL-C/TC ratios were lower. There was no significant difference between the other parameters of both groups. No correlation was found between Lp(a) and the other parameters levels of both controls and patients. There was a negative correlation between TG and HDL-C levels of patients. From these findings, Lp(a) was concluded to be an independent risk factor and TG was significant together with low levels of HDL-C On the other hand, a negative correlation was found between body mass index ( BMI) and Apo A-l levels in both controls and patients. Also, in the patient group TC, HDL-C levels were positively and BMI was negatively correleted with age.
