Özet

Okul öncesi dönemden başlayarak çevresel sürdürülebilirlik amacıyla verilecek eğitim çocukların çevresel sürdürülebilirlik bilgi ve davranışlarının ömür boyu kalıcı olmasını sağlayacaktır. Çevresel sürdürülebilirlik konusunda alan yazınına uygun olarak dijital ortamda resimli e-kitap hazırlamak ve okul öncesi dönemdeki 57-72 (ortalama 63 ay) aylık çocukların sürdürülebilir çevre bilgilerinde e-kitap ile bütünleştirilmiş sürdürülebilirlik eğitiminin etkisini belirlemek amacı ile bu araştırma planlanmıştır. Araştırmada yarı deneme modellerinden ön test son test eşitlenmemiş kontrol gruplu model kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi Adana ili Çukurova ilçesinde Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı resmi bir okul öncesi eğitim kurumuna devam eden 57-71 aylık 24 çocuk olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak“Çevreye Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği (CATES-PV): Çocuklara Yönelik Çevre Tutum Ölçeği (Okul Öncesi Versiyonu)”ve“Kişisel Bilgi Formu”kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada deney grubuna sekiz hafta boyunca“E-Kitap İle Bütünleştirilmiş Sürdürülebilirlik Eğitimi”uygulanmıştır. Araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan üç resimli e-kitap çocuklarla etkileşimli olarak paylaşıldıktan sonra destekleyici etkinlik uygulamaları gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler Mann Whitney-U testi ve Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar Testi ile analiz edilmiştir. Ön test puanlarının deney ve kontrol grubu değişkeni açısından Mann Whitney-U testi sonuçlarına bakıldığında gruplar arasında anlamlı farklılığın olmadığı görülmektedir (p>.05). Son test puanlarının deney ve kontrol grubu değişkeni açısından Mann Whitney-U testi sonuçlarına bakıldığında deney grubu hehine anlamlı farklılık görülmüştür ( p<.05). Deney grubunun ön test ve son test puanlarının Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar Testi sonuçlarına göre deney grubunda yer alan çocukların ön test ve son test puanları arasında anlamlı farklılık görülmektedir ( p<.05). Bu veriler ışığında E-Kitap İle Bütünleştirilmiş Sürdürülebilirlik Eğitimi'nin çocukların çevresel sürdürülebilirlik bilgilerinde etkili olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

The education to be given for environmental sustainability starting from the pre-school period will ensure that the environmental sustainability knowledge and behaviors of children are permanent for life. This research was planned in order to prepare an illustrated e-book in the digital environment in accordance with the literature on environmental sustainability and to determine the effect of sustainability education integrated with e-books on the sustainable environmental knowledge of preschool children aged 57-72 (average 63 months). In the research, the pre-test post-test unequalized control group model, which is one of the semi-experimental models, was used. The sample of the study was determined as 24 children, aged 57-71 months, attending an official preschool education institution affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in Adana province Çukurova district.“Attitudes Towards Environment Scale (CATES-PV): Environmental Attitude Scale Towards Children (Preschool Version)”and“Personal Information Form”were used as data collection tools in the research. In the research,“E-Book Integrated Sustainability Training”was applied to the experimental group for eight weeks. After the three picture e-books prepared by the researcher were shared interactively with the children, supportive activities were carried out. The data obtained in the research were analyzed with the Mann-Whitney-U test and the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. When the Mann Whitney-U test results are examined in terms of the experimental and control group variables of the pre-test scores, it is seen that there is no significant difference between the groups (p>.05). When the Mann Whitney-U test results were examined in terms of the experimental and control group variables of the post-test scores, there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the experimental group (p<.05). According to the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test results of the pre-test and post-test scores of the experimental group, there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of the children in the experimental group (p<.05). In the light of these data, it was concluded that E-Book Integrated Sustainability Education is effective in children's environmental sustainability knowledge.
