Özet
Bilişim teknolojilerinin gelişmesiyle internet ve mobil teknolojilerin eğitim öğretimde kullanımı yaygınlaştı. Bu gelişim, web destekli öğretimin hemşirelik eğitiminde kullanılmasını sağlamıştır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, hemşirelik öğrencilerine pediatrik ilaç dozu hesaplama konusunda verilen web destekli öğretimin bilgi düzeyine etkisine ilişkin sonuçlar sunmaktır. Prospektif randomize kontrollü ön test-son test araştırmaya 84 öğrenci katıldı. Veriler; öğrenci bilgi formu, pediatrik ilaç dozu hesaplama soru formu ve web destekli öğretim geribildirim formu ile toplandı. Ön test sınıfta yüz yüze son test online olarak yapıldı. Müdahale grubundaki öğrencilere, geleneksel öğretime ek olarak web destekli öğretim uygulandı. Kontrol grubundaki öğrencilere ise sadece geleneksel öğretim uygulandı. Grupların, ön test-son test puan ortalamalarının karşılaştırılmasında; bağımsız gruplarda T testi, Pearson χ2 testi, Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar testi ve Mann-Whitney U testleri uygulandı. Müdahale grubunda web destekli öğretim ile web sitesine giriş sayısı ve GANO arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek amacıyla Pearson Korelasyon katsayısı hesaplandı. Uygulama sürecinde, müdahale grubundaki öğrencilerin son test puanları iki kat artarken (73.19±1.05), kontrol grubunda anlamlı bir artış (30.27±1.20) görülmedi. Web destekli öğretime giriş sayısı ile son test puan ortalamaları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark vardı. Öğrencilerin geribildirimleri sonucunda web destekli öğretimin kullanımını önerdikleri görüldü. Bu veriler doğrultusunda pediatrik ilaç dozu hesaplama konusunda geleneksel öğretime ek olarak web destekli öğretim kullanılabilir.

With the development of information technologies, the use of internet and mobile technologies in education has become widespread. This development has enabled the use of web-assisted teaching in nursing education. The aim of the study is to present results regarding the effect of web-assisted instruction on the level of knowledge given to nursing students on pediatric drug dose calculation. 84 students participated in the prospective randomized controlled pretest-posttest study. Data were collected with student information form, pediatric drug dose calculation questionnaire and web-supported teaching feedback form. The pre-test was done face-to-face and the post-test online. In addition to the traditional teaching, web-assisted teaching was applied to the students in the intervention group. Only traditional instruction was applied to the students in the control group. In the comparison of the pretest-posttest mean scores of the groups; T test, Pearson χ2 test, Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test and Mann-Whitney U tests were applied in independent groups. Pearson's correlation coefficient was calculated to determine the relationship between web-assisted teaching and the number of access to the website and GANO in the intervention group. During the application process, the post-test scores of the students in the intervention group increased twofold (73.19±1.05), while there was no significant increase in the control group (30.27±1.20). There was a statistically significant difference between the number of access to web-assisted teaching and the post-test mean scores. As a result of the students' feedback, it was seen that they recommended the use of web-assisted teaching. In line with these data, web-assisted instruction can be used in addition to traditional teaching in calculating pediatric drug dose.
