Özet
Bu çalışma, hemşirelerin psikososyal bakım yetkinlikleri ve ilişkili faktörlerin incelenmesi amacıyla tanımlayıcı nitelikte gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın örneklemini, İstanbul'da eğitim ve araştırma hastanesinde genel kliniklerde çalışan ve çalışmayı kabul eden 217 hemşire oluşturmuştur. Hemşirelere Hemşire Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Psikososyal Bakım Yetkinliği Öz Değerlendirme Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Kolmogorov Smirnov Testi ile Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallies testi kullanılmıştır. Hemşirelerin Psikososyal Bakım Yetkinliği Öz Değerlendirme Ölçeği'nin (PBYÖDÖ) toplam puan ortalaması x̄:57.97±11.29 bulunurken, alt boyut puan ortalamaları; 'Semptom Tanılama' x̄:16,62±3,84, 'Bilgiyi Kullanma' x̄:16.93±3.58, 'Müdahale' x̄:11.63±3.17, 'Tanılama' x̄:12.79±2.65 olarak bulunmuştur. İleri yaş, kadın, yüksek lisans yapan hemşirelerin PBYÖDÖ toplam puan ve alt boyut puan ortalamaları diğerlerinden yüksek bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Hemşirelerin çalışma özelliklerinden; koroner yoğun bakım, çocuk kalp cerrahi servisi, pediatri yoğun bakım ve özel dal birimlerinde çalışan, meslekte ve kurumda 6 yıl ve üzeri çalışan, sürekli gece ya da gündüz çalışan, haftalık 45 saat çalışan, sorumlu-yönetici hemşire statüsünde olan, çalıştığı birimi kendi isteyerek seçen, birimde çalışmaktan memnun olan hemşirelerde PBYÖDÖ toplam puan ve alt boyut puan ortalamaları diğerlerinden anlamlı düzeyde yüksek bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Psikososyal bakım verme ile ilgili özelliklerinden; psikososyal bakım ile ilgili eğitim alan ve tekrar eğitim almak isteyen, hastaların psikososyal açıdan değerlendirilmesi gerektiğini düşünen, bakım verdiği hastayı psikososyal açıdan değerlendiren, hastanın psikososyal sorunlarını her vardiya değişiminde sorguladığını ifade eden hemşirelerin PBYÖDÖ toplam puan ve alt boyut puan ortalamaları diğerlerinden yüksek bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Sonuç olarak, hemşirelerin psikososyal bakım yetkinliği orta düzeyin üstünde olduğu saptanmıştır. Buna göre hemşirelerin psikososyal bakım yetkinliğini artıracak eylem planlarının oluşturulması ve girişimlerin uygulanması önerilmektedir.

This study was carried out as a descriptive study in order to examine the psychosocial care competencies of nurses and related factors. The sample of the study consisted of 217 nurses working in the general clinics of the training and research hospital in Istanbul and accepted to work. Nurse Personal Information Form and Psychosocial Care Competence Self-Assessment Scale were applied to nurses. Kolmogorov Smirnov Test and Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallies test were used. While the total mean score of the Nurses' Psychosocial Care Competence Self-Assessment Scale (PBYÖÖS) was x̄:57.97±11.29, the sub-dimension mean scores were; 'Symptom Diagnosis' was x̄:16.62±3.84, 'Using Information' was x̄:16.93±3.58, 'Intervention' was x̄:11.63±3.17, and 'Diagnosing' was x̄:12.79±2.65. Advanced age, female, postgraduate nurses' total PBSS score and sub-dimension mean scores were higher than the others (p<0.05). Working characteristics of nurses; Working in coronary intensive care, pediatric heart surgery service, pediatric intensive care and special branch units, working in the profession and institution for 6 years or more, working continuously day or night, working 45 hours a week, having the status of a responsible-managerial nurse, working in the unit voluntarily Nurses who chose to work in the unit and were happy to work in the unit had a significantly higher mean score of PBSS and sub-dimension scores than the others (p<0.05). Psychosocial care-giving features; Nurses who received training on psychosocial care and wanted to be re-educated, who thought that patients should be evaluated psychosocially, who evaluated the patient they care for psychosocially, and who stated that they questioned the psychosocial problems of the patient at every shift change, were found to be higher than the others (p< 0.05). As a result, it was determined that the psychosocial care competence of the nurses was above the medium level. Accordingly, it is recommended to create action plans and implement interventions that will increase the psychosocial care competence of nurses.
