Özet (Çeviri)
Fired heaters are the heart of the oil distillation process which uses the hot gases of combustion to increase the temperature of a feed flowing through tubes. Improving the Opex of fired heaters would result in higher efficiency and return of investment for the refining process. The incoming fluid is primarily heated in the convection tube section which is followed by further heating in the radiant section. In this project, a fired heater tube coil serpentine corrosion and cost of this thermodynamically favored mechanism was studied. By proper alloying selection and regulating the inspection and testing plan, the better result can be achieved from an economical point of view. Saving the material leads to reducing the expenditure by preventing excess monetary loss. The savings, of course, are not only in dollars and cents. There are direct and indirect savings of metals, oil, coal and water and also considerable saving of human effort. It appears that the comprehensive study is the most practical way to accurate appraisal of corrosion cost. The objective of this work is to make the Industry and policymaker engaged in corrosion studies aware of the meaning of knowing both the costs and the prevention due to corrosion. It is well-known that corrosion, if not specified and inspected, can be the cause of very large refurbish or failure costs in fired heaters. First, is needed consciousness by refinery that the problems be present and are costing them money. Then, more fundamental research on corrosion is needed.
