Özet (Çeviri)

This study investigates the temperature distribution, residual stress, and Stress Intensity Factors (SIFs) by three-dimensional thermo-mechanical finite element analyses of multi-pass welding. The welding process is simulated by using a moving volumetric heat source model, which is defined by using user subroutine DFLUX in Abaqus so that almost realistic results can be achieved. The temperature distribution characteristics on the welded plate are analyzed, and calculated temperature data are applied to the mechanical analysis model to observe the welding residual stress and thermal deformation on the welded plate, which has a significant effect on crack growth behavior. Welding residual stress effect on the crack tip is calculated from 'Mode Ⅰ' for different crack lengths; SIFs express the magnitude of the stress developed by the tip of the crack. Finite Element Method (FEM) model is created to define the Extended Finite Element Method (XFEM) meshing, which provides more accurate results for SIF calculations. Effects of weld-induced stress on SIFs are observed, and this stress can be reduced by applying cycle load. In the next step of the work, tensile loading analysis is performed to reduce the welding residual stress and to see the effect on the SIF values. The empirical equations are used for SIFs and J-integral calculations. The calculation results are compared with numerical analysis results; finally, the comparison of the results showed that a demonstration of the accuracy of the XFEM method.
