The running out natural resources, air pollution, the lifestyle that is becoming more and more artificial day by day, is a threat for the world and our lives. After all this destruction of the natural living, there is still hope for mankind to turn back and use technology for saving the natural life. Getting back to the ecological order will help mankind to get back to his essence. Though it seems simpler, it will be more comfortable and for the reason that it will be appropriate for the ecosystem as well as it will be much healthier. Demolishing the ecosystem of our world and running out of natural resources, brings us to one and only point; extinction. The only way to prevent this sickness and destruction is to transition to ecological living. Through this process to ecological living, we have to care on every small point as well as; choosing the materials that we use in our daily life and the place that we live in as in all parts of the eco-living. The aim of this thesis is to develop the site with shipping containers housing units rather than other structure systems, environmental friendly, rapid, easy, well insulated and fire protected units. With this thesis, I investigate how I can both have an opportunity to lower our ecological footprint and at the same time create a 'container home' that can support even the financially troubled. In a way, it is an investigation of how a house can become more opensource to everybody as a concept
