Özet
Kadınlar hayatlarının birçok döneminde cinsiyet ayrımcılığına maruz bırakılmışlardır. Kadın ve erkek eşitsizliğinin en çok kendini gösterdiği iş yaşamı, gerek ücret gerekse terfi alımında oldukça sık görülmektedir. Eski yıllardan itibaren bulundukları her konum için çok daha fazla çalışmak zorunda kalan kadınlar, iş yaşamında istedikleri veya hak ettikleri yerlere ulaşabilmek için erkeklere göre daha çok çaba göstermek durumunda kalmıştır. Son yıllarda iş hayatında kadın çalışan sayısının artmasının yanında kadınlara uygulanılan psikolojik baskılar nedeniyle birçok sektörde kadın ve erkek çalışan sayısı birbirlerinden oldukça farklı olacak şekilde dağılmaktadır. Mesleklere yüklenen cinsiyetçi tavır sonucunda birçok iş kadın veya erkek işi olarak tanımlanmış, bu da sektörler arasında çalışan dağılımının eşit olmamasına yol açmıştır. Özellikle, mutfak bölümündeki çalışan kadın ve erkekler arasındaki eşitsizlik dikkat çekicidir.

Women have been subjected to gender discrimination many times in their lives. In the years when their presence in business life was low, women were positioned in the background in social life. When they entered business life, they faced various obstacles here as well. In business life, where the inequality between men and women manifests itself the most, this inequality is observed quite often both in the purchase of wages and promotions. Women, who have been forced to work much harder for every position they have been in since the beginning of humanity, had to exert more effort than men in order to reach the places they want or deserve in their business life. In addition to the increase in the number of female employees in business life in recent years, the number of female and male employees in many sectors is distributed quite differently from each other due to the psychological pressures applied to women. As a result of the sexist attitude imposed on professions, many jobs were defined as male or female jobs, which led to an unequal distribution of employees between sectors. In particular, it is noted that there is much more female employment in the tourism sector, while the quantitative inequality of working women and men in the culinary sector is noteworthy. Therefore, the aim of this study is to identify the issues in which women are subjected to prejudices and sex discrimination and to propose solutions to eliminate the problems in which women are subjected to sex discrimination based on the results obtained.
