Özet
ÖZET Bu araştırmanın problemi, ilk ve orta dereceli okullarda görevli beden eğitimi branş öğretmenlerinin iş tatmin düzeylerini tespit ederek, verimliliğe etki eden öğelerin, çalışma hayatı üzerindeki önemini vurgulamaktır. Asıl görevi zorunlu beden eğitimi dersleri olan öğretmenlerin, asli görevlerinin dışında birçok alanda da faaliyet gösterdikleri bilinmektedir. Sporun tabana yayılmasında en önemli unsurlardan biri olan beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin işlerinden duydukları tatminin gerek genel eğitim gerekse spor eğitimi açısından önemi büyüktür. Araştırmanın ilk bölümünde sırasıyla,araştırmanın konusu hakkında kuramsal bilgiler, araştırmanın problemi, amacı, alt problemleri, denenceleri, sayıltılan, sınırlılıkları ve önemine yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde, araştırma modeline, evren ve örnekleme, verilerin toplanmasına, verilerin çözümlenmesi ve yorumlanmasının nasıl yapıldığına ilişkin bilgiler yer almıştır. Evreni temsil eden seksen tane beden eğitimi öğretmenine resmi yollardan ulaşılarak, geçerliği ve güvenirliği test edilmiş olan Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire anketinde bulunan yüz adet soruyu yanıtlamaları istenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise, elde edilen bulgular incelenmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Bu kısımda SPSS istatistik programından yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın dördüncü ve son bölümünde sonuç ve öneriler yer almıştır. Beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin iş tatmin düzeyleri, genel iş tatmini, iç tatmin, dış tatmin ve iş tatminine etki eden yirmi adet öğe olmak üzere dört boyutta ele alınmıştır: Araştırma sonuçlarına göre öğretmenler, yaptıkları işi, genel iş tatmini açısından zayıfta olsa tatmin edici, iç tatmin açısından daha yüksek bir ortalamayla tatmin edici, dış tatmin açısından ise ne tatmin edici, ne değil şeklinde belirtmişlerdir iİş tatmini öğelerine bakıldığında ise öğretmenler, yaptıkları işi, ahlaki değerler açısından çok tatmin edici bulurken, yaptıkları iş karşılığında aldıkları ücret için ise tatmin edici değil ifadesinde bulunmuşlardır.

ABSTRACT The problem of this research is, by determining the levels of work satisfaction of the branch teachers of physical education and sports employed in primary and secondary schools, to emphasize the importance of the factors affecting the performance on their work life. It is known that the teachers, whose main duities are to teach the compulsory physical education and sport courses, have been acting in various fields in addition to their main duities. The physical education, one of the most important factors, has, in the spread of sport over base, an important role both in that general education and in that sports education physical education feel. In the first part of the research, respektively, theoretical kno wedge concering the subject of the research, the problem, aim, sub-problems, experiences, hypothesis assumptions and importance of the research have been taken place. In the second part, the imformation concering a research model, population and sampling and how the data should be stored, analysed and processed have been included. Eighth/ physical education teachers representing the population were confacted via formal channels and also were asked to respond to a hundered questions, the reliability and valitidy of which were tested in the Minessota Satisfaction Questionaire. In the third part, the finding obtained were examined and interpreted. In this section, the SPSS statistic program was made use of. The levels of work satisfaction of the teachers of physical education were handled with four dimensions as twenty factors which affect general work satisfaction, external satisfaction. According to the results of the research, the teachers regarded the work as satisfactory even if it was poor in respect of general work satisfaction, and as satisfactory on a higher average in respect of internal satisfaction and neither satisfactory nor unsatisfactory in respect of external satisfaction. As for the work satisfaction factors, the teachers regarded the work they do as highly satisfactory in respect of moral values, whereas they started that their salaries were not satisfactory in respect of the job that they take charge.
