Özet
Çocuk dergileri, çocuğun güncel bilgileri takip etme, yeni bilgi öğrenme, eğlenme ihtiyaçlarını gideren dil sevgisi kazandıran bilişsel duyuşsal ve psikomotor öğrenme becerilerini geliştiren süreli yayınlardır. Bu dergilerin içerisinde çocuğa edebi zevk kazandırmaya, genel kültürünü artırmaya yönelik metinler ile çocuğu aktif kılmaya, eğlendirmeye yönelik etkinlikler bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı; TÜBİTAK destekli Bilim Çocuk dergisinin bölümlerini, etkinliklerin sayılarını ve dağılımlarını, soruların sayılarını ve dağılımlarını belirlemek; dergide yer alan soruları temalarına, öğrenme alanlarına göre incelemek; temaların çocuğa uygunluğuna bakmak; öğrenme alanlarının sorularda aktif bir şekilde kullanılıp kullanılmadığını tespit etmek; Yapılan çalışma, nitel bir çalışma olup doküman analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. 2020 yılında yayımlanan Bilim Çocuk dergilerinin tamamı bu çalışmada incelenmiştir. Dergi bölümleri ayrıntısıyla incelenerek“Ön ve Arka Kapak”,“Derginin İçi”ve“Dergi Eki”olmak üzere üç bölüme ayrılmıştır. Derginin içindeki bölümler“Metin Bölümü”,“Metin -Etkinlik Bölümü”ve“Etkinlik Bölümü”olmak üzere üç başlıkta sınıflandırılmıştır. Ayrıca derginin içinde olan ve her dergide bulunan sabit köşeler ayrıntısıyla incelenmiştir. Dergide bulunan etkinlikler“Metin İçi Etkinlikler”,“Metin Dışı Etkinlikler”,“Arka Kapaktaki Etkinlikler”ve“Dergi Ekindeki Etkinlikler”şeklinde dörde ayrılmıştır. Bu bölümlerde bulunan etkinliklerin sayıları ve etkinliklerde bulunan soru sayıları tespit edilerek tablolara aktarılmıştır. Derginin etkinliklerinde yer alan soruların temaları belirlenmiş, aynı zamanda bu sorular Yenilenmiş Bloom Taksonomisi'ne, Krathwohl, Bloom ve Masia'nın Duyuşsal Alan Taksonomisi'ne, Simpson'un Psikomotor Alan Taksonomisi'ne göre incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın sonucunda derginin bölümleri tespit edilmiş, dergi etkinlikleri ayrıntısıyla incelenmiştir. İncelenen dergi sayılarında toplam 284 etkinlik bulunmakta, bu etkinliklerin 156'sı derginin sabit köşesinde yer almaktadır. Yapılan çalışmada oluşturulan sınıflandırmaya göre etkinliklerin en fazla bulunduğu bölüm;“Metin Dışı Etkinlik”bölümüdür. Etkinliklerin içerisinde toplam 402 soru bulunmaktadır. Çalışmadaki sınıflandırmaya göre soruların en fazla yer aldığı bölüm“Metin Dışı Etkinlikteki Sorular”bölümüdür. 402 sorudan 366 sorunun teması bulunmakta, 24 sorunun temasında sınırlama yapılmamakta, 12 sorunun ise teması bulunmamaktadır. Teması bulunan sorular, 31 farklı temaya dâhil edilmiştir. Bu temalar arasında en çok kullanılan tema,“Hayvanlar”temasıdır. Soruların 277'si bilişsel alanda, 81'i psikomotor alanda, 7'si duyuşsal alanda, 32'si hem bilişsel hem de duyuşsal alanda, 5'i bilişsel ve psikomotor alanda yer almaktadır. İncelenen dergi sayılarında Yenilenmiş Bloom Taksonomisi'nin her basamağına yönelik soru bulunmakla birlikte en fazla kullanılan basamağı“hatırlama”basamağıdır. Krathwohl, Bloom ve Masia'nın Duyuşsal Alan Taksonomisi'nde ise sadece“tepkide bulunma”basamağı kullanılmıştır. Simspson'un Psikomotor Alan Taksonomisi'nde,“kılavuzla yapma”,“mekanikleşme”,“beceri hâline getirme”ve“yaratma”basamaklarına yönelik sorular bulunmaktadır. Psikomotor alanda en fazla kullanılan basamak“kılavuzla yapma”basamağıdır.

These magazines include texts aimed at bringing literary pleasure to the child, increasing his general culture, and activities aimed at making the child active and entertaining. The aim of this study; To determine the sections, the number and distribution of activities, the number and distribution of questions in the“Science Kids”magazine supported by TÜBİTAK; to examine the questions in the magazine according to their themes and learning areas; looking at the relevance of the themes to the child; to determine whether the learning areas are used actively in the questions. The study was a qualitative study and document analysis method was used. All of the“Science Kids”magazines published in 2020 were examined in this study. The magazine sections were examined in detail and divided into three sections as“Front and Back Cover”,“Inside of the Magazine”and“Magazine Supplement”. The sections in the magazine are classified under three headings as“Text Section”,“Text-Activity Section”and“Activity Section”. In addition, the fixed corners in the magazine and in each magazine were examined in detail. The activities in the magazine are divided into four as“In-text Activities”,“Extra-Text Activities”,“Activities on the Back Cover”and“Activities in the Journal Supplement”. The number of the activities in these sections and the number of questions in the activities were determined and transferred to the tables. The themes of the questions in the activities of the magazine were determined, and at the same time, these questions were examined according to the Revised Bloom Taxonomy, the Affective Domain Taxonomy of Krathwohl, Bloom and Masia, and Simpson's Psychomotor Domain Taxonomy. As a result of this study, the sections of the magazine were determined and the magazine activities were examined in detail. There are a total of 284 events in the magazine issues examined, 156 of these events are in the fixed corner of the magazine. According to the classification created in the study, the section with the highest number of activities; According to the classification created in the study, the section with the highest number of activities is the“Non-text Activities”section. There are a total of 402 questions in the activities. According to the classification in the study, the section with the most questions is“Questions in Non-Text Activity”. There are 366 themes out of 402 questions, there is no limitation in the themes of 24 questions, and 12 questions do not have a theme. The themed questions were included in 31 different themes. The most used theme among these themes is the“Animals”theme. 277 of the questions are in the cognitive domain, 81 in the psychomotor domain, 7 in the affective domain, 32 in both cognitive and affective domains, and 5 in the cognitive and psychomotor domain. Although there are questions for each step of the Revised Bloom Taxonomy in the reviewed journal issues, the most used step is the“remember”step. In the Affective Domain Taxonomy of Krathwohl, Bloom and Masia, only the“responding”step is used. In Simspson's Psychomotor Domain Taxonomy, there are questions for the steps of“guided response”,“mechanism”,“complex overt response”and“origination”. The most used step in the psychomotor domain is the“guided response”step.
